All the great bars and restaurants of Surry Hills, Paddington, Oxford St and the City. Central Station is 5 minutes walk.
The location is very central, walking distance to Crown St, Oxford St, the City and Central Station.
Make sure you keep the swipe and key very safe - to replace it will cost $250. That's because of the swipe, the door key and the fire stair key.
No smoking in the apartment.
When you check out please take out your trash out, empty the fridge of any food and make sure to you turn the air-con off.
The WIFI is not unlimited so take it easy peeps - obviously no illegal downloads, and unfortunately no streaming music, please don't download any movies, music or large files.
Please be respectful of the neighbours, no parties or loud music, and keep the place clean and tidy.
A great apartment close to everything. We really liked the neighbourhood, it had lots of cafés, restaurants and bars. The flat was clean and well appointed, with everything from wifi to a nice balcony. Tom was easy to reach and communicate with, and we got the keys easily enough. Definitely recommend staying there!
The apartment is in a great location, go down the hill towards Central and you can get the trains to the CBD and beyond, or go up the hill to Crown Street with numerous bars and restaurants.
It's good that there's a separate bedroom which makes a difference. The kitchen has everything you need with a full size oven, hob and microwave.
The chalkboard is a really good idea, and helped us with planning our days whilst we were in Sydney.
The washer/dryer setup seemed quirky at first, but makes sense given the limited space, and both were straight forward to use.
The apartment was just as described , a fine, well kept flat in a nice part of Sydney. This allowed us to see everything we wanted to in the week we were there.
We were met at the accommodation exactly as arranged to hand over the keys and explain the workings of the apartment. The lift wasn't working at the time but had been repaired by the time we returned with our bags. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, though perhaps a few more items of crockery would be useful; we never had enough to actually use the dishwasher ! There was a range of leaflets and information books about Sydney which were all very useful. The toilet / shower / launderette area is quirky, but makes the best use of available space. There are plenty of electrical points and the wifi was good and strong and easy to connect. The only thing that would make it better would be a table inside, the only one being on the balcony.
The apartment is very well located, with a 10 minute walk downhill ( 15 mins back ! ) to Central Station with trains to the CBD, Circular Quay and the airport. Surry Hills itself, particularly along Crown Street is excellent for restaurants of many different kinds and also brilliant ice cream ! If you have a car, there is nearly always parking on the street available nearby.
Overall, this is a very comfortable apartment in a very convenient area.
The property manager was there to greet us and the apartment was easy to find and well equipped. It's in a great location for cafes, bars and good food stores. Also easy to get the bus on Crown Street to reach the CBD and Circular Quay. We did have problems with the lift, though. It seems very temperamental!
Great place! Clean and spacious. Fantastic location. Tom was super easy to deal with and very quick to respond with every question.
Clean and centrally located. Lift is unreliable - fine if you're OK to use the stairs.

Originally from Australia, I moved to the bright lights of New York in early 2010 and working at a digital creative agency. I spend a lot of time at work during the week, I like to go out, but also enjoy chilling out at home and watching sports/documentaries or a movie. I like to keep the whole Airbnb thing pretty casual, I'm here to help if you have questions but otherwise I'm happy to let you do your thing, I haven't even met some of the guests which is fine with me if that's what they want.
