Best to remove shoes on entering house. We do! Please come in quietly late at night since we are up early (5 a.m.) to go to the gym before work. There is a small refrigerator for your use in the dining room. Please clean up after yourselves and leave your room as you found it.
An immaculate home with consummate hosts, there cannot be a better place to stay in Raleigh. Elizabeth/Dan were incredibly kind, the location was superb (ten min walk to downtown, but tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood), the fresh fruit and home-baked muffins got the day off to a good start, and the house itself seemed like it was ripped from the pages of Southern Living magazine. I will definitely be returning on future visits!
Fabulous experience with old neighbors in my former neighborhood. The hosts are very accommodating. Their home is warm, clean, and inviting. The location is walking distance to all the happenings and vibrancy of Raleigh's downtown and is backyard to NC State University. I will now try to always stay here when I have to come back to town for business and visits. Breakfast was fantastic!!! This was a gem of a B&B stay.
This was our first time using Air bnb. Elizabeth and Dan went out of their way to make us feel at home in our new city. They were a great wealth of knowledge about the area. The home was walking distance from the city, making nights of fun both safe and walkable. Elizabeth's breakfast was always refreshing and satisfying until lunch.
These hosts have hospitality at every turn! An immaculate home (including bathroom!), ease of entry, chocolates by your bed, every item that you could forget was there just in case.
Upon our check out, Elizabeth gave us some fresh strawberry jam.
All in all, we couldn't be more thrilled about our stay. We learned a trick or two on how to be hospitable! :)
Wonderful hosts and a truly beautiful home. Location is also very convenient to NCSU as well as downtown.
The room I stayed in was large and had a private bathroom, all nicely decorated and comfortable.
I hope they will have a room available the next time I travel to Raleigh.
Thank you Elizabeth and Dan for your hospitality.
A truly great airbnb! Elizabeth and Dan genuinely enjoy hosting and it shows from the welcome to the chats over breakfast. Full of tips and recommendations for things to do and places to eat, they made my trip to Raleigh full of new experiences.
The location is fantastic - an easy 5-10min walk to down town, 5 min to restaurants and bars.
This was the second time we've stayed with Dan and Elizabeth. They were excellent hosts as always. Breakfast was great. Dan worked at a bike shop when he was teenager and was kind enough to give our vintage bikes a tune up before our ride. It was a big help.
We stayed for two nights at Elizabeth and Dan's place in Boylan Heights - a neighborhoods we knew we loved from our years living in Raleigh. The house was amazing and the room was great, with a private bathroom attached. We really weren't there much over the weekend but it was a great place to come back to. Unfortunately we didn't ever meet Elizabeth and Dan but they gave great instructions for how to get in, etc. Thanks for a great place to stay!
