  • This garden studio is exactly as advertised. Very close
To all the activities of Santa Monica, parking was never
an issue. A small but efficient kitchenette, very clean and lovely setting. I happen to hit a chilly spell and the heaters were more then enough to really warm up the studio. Hilary was the perfect host, available but never in the way.

I was attending a business conference at a hotel on the beach,
Just 10 minutes away, it was a nice escape. I will definitely stay
    Here again in the future.

  • Hilary's studio is lovely, and exactly as advertised. It's close to everything, and has a charming back yard.

  • Had a great stay in this studio for several days. The host was very helpful, giving us a starting guide to the area, providing clean dishes every day, and always available via text. The kitchen was stocked with useful appliances like a toaster oven, coffeemaker, water boiler, mini-fridge, coffee, and tea, but the only downside was having to use the bathroom sink to empty mugs or give my dirty dishes a first-pass rinse. I kind of wished there was an iron but that was very minor. The place was airy, cute, and I liked the fresh design. The area was great, right near the downtown Santa Monica shops. Overall a great stay.

  • Our stay at Hilary's Studio was amazing, all the facilities were great, parking was quite easy, and the host was really helpful and gave us good recommendations for restaurants and museums. Our experience was quite special, and we loved the studio and Santa Monica in general and will be very happy to go back one day.

  • This spacious, light filled, peaceful studio in Santa Monica, is a great launchpad to explore (and then escape from) the LA metropolis!

Located on a quiet, leafy and safe street - it is but a short distance to some great neighbourhood restaurants, bakeries and the beach - as well as other beachside neighbourhoods (Venice!) and the greater LA.

It has a well fitted out kitchenette, a lovely bathroom - can you say bathtub with a large private window?- and lots of light and air.

Hillary is a thorough, responsive and considerate host and has some great tips for spots to check out! Totally recommend this studio.

  • We spent 4 days at Hilary's place and everything was perfect. Hilary is a really nice and friendly host and all the studio is clean and well decorated. The place is very bright, crossed by sun with the numerous windows which is a great point for us. Moreover when you are in Santa Monica and start enjoying beautiful days.
We had a rental car and never had to look for a parking place as it is very easy nearby and Hilary takes care of the vital permit. The neighborough is quiet and next to all restaurants, beaches, etc. at the same time.
He had a great time in Santa Monica, largely thanks to this nice place that we HIGHLY recommend.

  • We enjoyed Hilary's Garden Studio immensely. Equipped with pantry necessities and a fridge, the living space is large, airy and opens out onto a beautiful green lawn with lots of trees and even a hammock to laze in. Lovely lemon tree in the garden corner. Bathroom and toilet are luxe in comparison to most other AirBnb rentals. it was very comfortable. There's plenty of natural daylight due to two walls lined with doors and windows but adequate blackout curtains to allow one to sleep in. Huge bed. Comfy pillows and bedlinen. Quiet place for people looking to rest. Location is great, quick and easy access to the beaches and also to the highways. LA is sprawling so having a car is a must. Walking distance to Whole Foods and great brunch at Milo & Olive, just two hops away. Hilary is a great host, warm, accommodating and definitely experienced at this. Apartment was also impeccably clean.

  • Great place to stay ... comfortable, quite location with a large bedroom / living area and a luxurious bathroom. Walking distance to Wilshire Blvd with restaurants, shops, and services. The beach and downtown are only a few miles away.

Had great food at Milo and Olive on Wilshire (in walking distance) and the Misfit Restaurant + Bar (on Santa Monica Blvd, in downtown). Also recommend Father's Office (on Montana) for burgers and beer.

    Would definitely stay again.

  • Great Host, great place, great location.

We stayed 3 nights at Hilary's
Hilary's studio is a very serene and spacious place in a very quiet area, next to everything in Santa Monica.

    The plus :
    - Very kind welcome from Hilary who cares for her hosts and is very helpful : excellent advise for restaurants, parking permit in front of the house, good quality soap and towels in the bathroom ...
    - Hilary gives a lot of attention to her studio that is very neat, clean and nicely decorated
    - The studio has lots of window-doors and windows that look onto a nice private garden
    - all white zen atmosphere
    - comfortable bed
    - high quality bathroom with panoramic window looking on bushes and trees so you have the feeling of taking your shover in the nature
    - Printer. Very useful when you're traveling and want to print tickets or (website hidden) maps.

    What you have to know.
    - Kitchen corner with toaster and fridge but no sink. If you want to wash some fruit or vegetable, you need to use the sink from the bathroom.

We had a great stay and we would be very glad to come again and stay longer. I highly recommend staying at Hilary's.
