Apartment - Private room · Bregnerødgade, Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark 2200, Denmark

The Space

If you’re looking for an inexpensive cosy, clean and comfy place to stay in Copenhagen you are checking the right offer :-)

We rent 1 room (with 2 beds) in our spacious 3-room apartment.
The design of 2 of the rooms (including the one for rent) is quite unusual. Most of the wall between the room we have for rent and the living room is removed (There is a curtain that can be used to separate the two rooms for more privacy). This way we would share the space in the living room. Both rooms partially joined together create a large, comfortable living space.
Although the room for rent is only partially separated from the living room, visitors will have 100% privacy for a good night sleep and more than enough space to store your belongings. Please look at the pictures to see how the apartment is arranged. Lately we've adjust the arrangement of the furniture in the room so it looks slightly different from the pictures included. However, it is the same room, includes the same furniture, just arranged differently :-)

More specific about the room and our apartment:
It is a bright, large room with a big window, partly joined with the living room
There are two double beds in the room: one futon that folds into a couch and a sofa that unfolds into full bed. This way two people can sleep very comfortably, each having a big bed. If you are more than two people we do have the same space listed for 4 people at a slightly higher price.
Friends and family staying in our place always mentioned that the beds are comfortable.
Furthermore there is a dining table and a wardrobe with draws for you to put your belongings in.
The bathroom and toilet are separate from each other
The kitchen is spacious and has all the equipment you’ll need to make your breakfast, coffee, tee, lunch or dinner.
There is a backyard with a small garden, grill and small table
We keep our apartment clean.

Amenities provided:
We provide bed sheets, pillows, blankets and towels
You will get space in the bathroom cabinet to put your toiletries.
You will get space in the fridge if you need it
You are welcome to use all the equipment in the kitchen including: fridge, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, blender, coffee grinder, coffee maker and whatever else you may need, including all the kitchen utensils.
We have wireless internet in our apartment that you are welcome to use
You are welcome to watch TV and use space in the living room
We can lend you a bike or sometimes two to get around Copenhagen and trust us, there is no better way to get around the city than by bicycle!

Location:
The appartment is located in the heart of Nørrebro, which has arguably become Copenhagen’s edgiest hub. A heady mix of hipsters, students and immigrants mingle in the cafes and galleries around the district’s focal square, Sankt Hans Torv (2.2km (1.3 miles) away). Many cosy shops, places for eating in the area, night clubs, green gardens and parks also close by.
The apartment is in a great location and it is very easy and quick to get to and from the city center and many other attractions:
First of all, it takes 10-15 mins. to get to the center by bike
Walking would take you 20 -25 mins.
Bus stops for many directions about 2 minutes walk away. Buses: 6A,5A, (phone number hidden) S, (phone number hidden) S.
Nørrebro station for train is 2 minutes walk away, and this train will take you to the underground metro in 4 minutes.
Using the metro, then the train for 3 stops, we are approximately 40 mins from the Copenhagen airport.

The hosts:
We (Agnieszka and Lindy) are very hospitable, open minded and relaxed young people and we enjoy having guest in our place. Most of the day we are out of our apartment, working at the University of Copenhagen.
We will respect your privacy and make sure you feel at home.
You will not only stay in the heart of wonderful Copenhagen but also experience Polish- and Saint Lucian hospitality ☺
We will be more than happy to help you out with getting around the city and finding interesting things to do and places to visit.
We speak the following languages:
Agnieszka: English, Polish, quite some Danish
Lindy: English, Spanish, Creole (Patois), some German and Danish

We live on a generally quiet street away from the main traffic, so you can get some good night sleep.
It is possible to park your bike in safely in the backyard.

  • I spent 4 weeks in Aga's flat and I strongly reccomend this place. It was my first time in Copenhagen and Aga and Lindy helped me to settle down in any possible way. I felt like at home since the first moment.
The flat is so cozy, nice and clean, located in a wonderful position not far away from the city centre and very close to train station and bus lines.
Aga is a thoughtful landlord, available at any time, as well as a great cook!
If you are searching for a friendly place where to stay, this is the right one!

  • Agnieszka and Lindy were wonderful hosts, their apartment is very nice (especially the shower!) and we were given everything we needed. We stayed for 3 days and they made us feel at home as well as giving us advice on where to go and what to see. The beds were comfy and although there is no door closing off the sleeping area a big curtain gives you the privacy you need. Would definitely stay with them again and recommend anyone else to do so. After having such a great time in the city me and a friend who stayed with us are looking to move to Copenhagen, We'll need a place to stay when we begin the house hunt and these guys will definitely be our first port of call! 5*

  • Can definitely recommend it. Although not having your own room, since it is seperated to the living room only by a curtain, Agnieszka and Lindy take care about your privacy. They are very open-minded, hospitable and help you with any question you can think of, including valuable recommendations for must-sees and good restaurants. A door to close the living room would increase the privacy, but overall we were very satisfied and enjoyed our stay.

  • We spend one month at Aga and Lindy's and we have only positive things to say. First they're both really nice, kind, funny and easy going. We had great time with them. Second, their apartment is amazingly comfortable and cosy, well placed in the city. Third, what amazing cooks they both make !
It was a long stay for us, because we were trying to settle in Copenhagen and we don't regret to spend this time with them. We felt welcome and they gave us great tips for a start here.
We definitely recommend them as host !

  • We were very very lucky to have Aga as our host....we came here with the hope of moving to Copenhagen knowing nothing really about the way life was here. And luckily Aga had all the answers and if it wasn't for her help it would have been a massive task to establish (website hidden) all we stayed one month and met Lindy near the end of our stay they were great and so very helpful and welcomed us into there lovely home.
So now we have our first Copenhagen friends :)
And can now cook dinner for them in our own kitchen!!

  • Agnieszka and her home was like an oasis for our backpacking tour. Although none of us in our group had even been to Denmark, her directions were easy and she met us right when we called and her home is adorable, clean, and cozy. We were so comfortable and felt right at home. Agnieszka is so awesome and interesting and I recommend her and her home to anyone who wants to go to Copenhagen and be near the city center and get great advice from a local. The location was great with walking distance to a market, restaurants and public transit. It was exactly what we wanted!

  • My husband and I really enjoyed our time in Copenhagen and staying at Agni's place. It is easy to find, very comfy, and has everything you need. She is super sweet, helpful with tips, and very easy going. We didn't get to spend much time with her as we were out and about almost all of the time, but it was nice to stay in a place that felt like home - and you certainly can't beat the price. If we ever return to Copenhagen, we will definitely stay with her again.

  • Agneiszka made me feel very welcome in her home and it was easy to locate using her directions. A lovely, light and airy apartment where I felt very relaxed and at home. I would recommend staying here, although a little way from the centre bus and metro are very near.

About
Agnieszka: I’m 27 years old and I originally come from Poland. I have been living in Denmark in Copenhagen for the last 7 years. First, I finished my education at the University of Copenhagen and then decided to stay in this awesome city, started working in the field of science and have been enjoying my life in Denmark. I am a positive, easy going and open-minded person. Sometimes even too optimistic about live but it’s been working for me so far so why change it;-) Currently, I work at the University of Copenhagen as a postdoctoral fellow. I enjoy learning and getting better at what I do. I like my job very much and it gives me lots of satisfaction. Furthermore, I love dancing. It is my passion and I’ve been dancing since i was a little girl. Music is a big part of my live and my “happy feet” just can’t stay in place when the cool tune is on :-) I enjoy traveling and performing arts. My last travel was to amazing Saint Lucia, in the Caribbean, the motherland of my boyfriend and I loved every minute of it!! There is nothing more inspiring and enriching than getting to know new people, new cultures and seeing and experiencing new places...
