This studio was perfect for what we needed for our short stay. It fit the three of nicely! We were welcomed once we arrived and provided with options for a light breakfast! Can't wait to visit again!
It was a nice experience to live in that cosy appartment. We first went to the lane opposite and then came back to find the apartment. Beppe came down and showed us how to use the coffee maker. He had put whole milk and reduced fat milk, biscotti, tea, coffe and his excellent jam for us. There was even some olive oil and sunflower oil which we could use. The location of the house is perfect. The trails start just in front of the house and the church is just next door. My daughter loved to go up to the church and look around from there. The room upstairs has low ceiling and one has to be careful about not getting bumped. Beppe made us feel really at home. We will never forget his hospitality and if we ever go back to Cinque Terre, I will again stay there if it is vacant.
The studio apartment in Corniglia was amazing! Plenty of room for the two of us. Located in the center of Corniglia, the location was great. Francesca was kind enough to recommend several restaurants and markets. A truly amazing experience. This location allows you to hike into Vernazza and is easily access all of the local rail lines.
Great little place, right in the centre of Corniglia. Had everything we needed!
Beppe, Francesca's father was there to welcome us when we arrived. He proudly showed us the place and even left some of his home made cherry jam for us in the fridge. Breakfast of coffee, tea, milk, toast, and pastries was provided. We didn't follow directions well and walked the flight of stairs from the train station to the town of Corniglia. Take the bus! The place was clean, quaint, and sized perfectly for a mother and son traveling duo. I did have some trouble using the wifi with a MacBook Air, but my mother had no problem with her Android. There may be other places in Corniglia with better views, but this is definitely the best location in the village -- right next to the church and all the amenities. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Great location! Corniglia is in my opinion the best town to stay in Cinque Terre, as it is the least touristy (but still plenty of tourists..just not as many as the other cities). Great (email hidden)per easy to get to , close to the city center and the hiking trails :) and right by a cute cafe. Very cute little place to stay in with plenty of space. It did feel very moist/damp in the room but I think that is how all the places are in Cinque this time of year. Also there is a town bell that goes off every hour that is pretty loud (even at night), but since it goes off in the entire town I don't think you wouldn't be able to find any place that avoids hearing it. Beppe (Francesca's father) was the sweetest kindest man and very helpful. The wifi didn't always work was pretty spotty but I've heard that's common in the entire town. It was nice that it has a fully equipped kitchen for cooking some of your own meals as well! Overall great place and we loved our stay here!
