Comfortable and well equipped studio. Double bedroom loft (king size bed), little bedroom with double bed, kitchenette and bathroom with shower.
For the hosts a courtesy italian breakfast kit to self made a genuine breakfast and taste the fab jam of Beppe, my father...
Present in the studio a well kitchen corner: fridge, cooking area, kettle, microwave oven and TV sat and a comfortable dining area (four people).
Included in the total cost: linens (bed, bath and kitchen), consuption of electricity, gas and water, and during the winter season heating.
The little flat is situated in the historical centre of Corniglia, in the true heart of Cinque Terre, from there you should take the paths to Vernazza and Manarola or if you prefer more impegnative paths we suggest you a visit to Volastra.
The green bus stop, to reach the railway station, is 50mts far from the house.
Joining the Marina of Corniglia, a beautiful and quiet little harbour, takes only a 5 minutes walking trip...at your arrival a sea of light blue saphire will welcome you.
We met Francesca and her father Beppe when we arrived. Francesca was very informative re the hiking routes and access to the beaches. Prior to our arrival she sent us many wonderful suggestions of where to go and eat. The studio was very clean and very accessible to the rest of the town including the village shuttle and shops. The shopkeeper across the way was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place but watch your head when you climb the stairs to the upstairs bedroom and bring earplugs for the church bells.
Francesca and her father Beppe were very lovely hosts. The town is very quaint - the smallest of the 5 towns along the cinque terre. The apartment was very clean and had everything as advertised. We are very tall so noticed the low ceilings everywhere. The only negatives would be that the internet didn't work and the shower didn't have very hot water. You should also note that there is a very loud bell tower nearby which goes off EVERY 30-60 minutes (including during the night).
It was wonderful staying in Francesca's flat! The flat is super clean, charming and in a great location!
I haven't had the chance to meet up with her, but she was very helpful and gave very good advice for restaurants and places to visit.
Her parents Beppe and Ines are so nice and it was so nice to chat with them during the aperitif... We had the chance to savour lemons from their garden... as well as the delicious homemade marmalade.
We definitely recommend this place!
Thanks a lot Francesca... e forse la prossima volta che veniamo ci incontriamo!
The B&B was clean and nice. For 4 adults, it is a bit small. But we knew that going into it. The unit is real close to where the shuttle drops you in Corniglia. You do not have to go up hills or long distances with your bags. Francesca's father (Bepe) was there to greet us and make sure we had everything we needed. That, too, was really nice. We had a great two nights staying here while we visited the Cinque Terre area.
Very clean, well equipped apartment. We stayed with four people and it was a little cozy, as the bedroom and loft actually share a window, so little privacy. But everything else was great. Francesca was in close contact leading up to the trip. She gave me great recommendations on where to eat and how to get around, ie. parking. We were met by Beppe and given the quick rundown on the place. The town of Corneglia is beautiful and quaint. Wonderful restaurants and beautiful views! I'm so glad we chose to stay in that town and then hike/train to the others. Very easily accessible! I would highly recommend this apartment and Francesca and Beppe! Overall the experience was wonderful! Airbnb has not disappointed yet and I'm excited for the next experience!
This was a perfect studio for our stay in Cinque Terre. It is the quietest village not so touristy and so beautiful! Easy to get to the other villages. It was a very cute and spacious place. There is a little bakery right outside the door and it has some amazing food!! You can sit outside and get wifi there. If they have it, try the focaccia dulce.
Only issue we had is we needed to leave a night early because after traveling there on our first day we realized we would miss our flight in Milan if we stayed there the 3rd night. This was a little hard to explain since we don't speak Italian and there were some miscommunications but Francesca and her father Beppe are very sweet and we would definitely recommend this place! Thank you for a great stay!!

This is a lovely charming apartment in the centre of Corniglia. We were pleased to find it had two full double beds, which was more than expected! Beppe (Francesca's father) showed us around and was a delight. The only negative was the fact that the wi-fi wasn't working whilst we were there, which was a tad frustrating, but otherwise everything was perfect.
This studio is in a fantastic location in Corniglia. It's right at the top of the walk-up to the church, and it's right next to a little shop. The best part of this place is Beppe. Beppe is Francesca's "papa" and he's the funniest, jolliest man ever. So nice! The apartment itself is just as shown in the pictures. It's very clean and convenient. The only thing to consider is that if you're a tall person (my husband is 6'4") you really want to watch your head when going up to bed. The curved brick ceiling is lower than you think.
Also, the apartment is right on a "sitting stoop" area, so most days we woke to tour groups passing by and people sitting right at the front door. Still, it's very easy to get to and it's a clean, pleasant apartment.
Great appartment! We met her father for check in, he was very nice altought we dont speak the same languages, signs and hands waving was a bit fun. The appartment is very clean and fully equipped, we enjoyed coocking our meals from the local products and wine.
Very reccomended and in our opinion corniglia is the nicest village to stay at. (We visited all villages and also stayed at verreneze for a few days beforhand).
If you are for walking the red trails are highly recommended and are supirior to the coastal blue trail.
And again it is a highly recommended appratment, a great place to stay at and great hosts.
We really liked Corniglia, and Francesca was very helpful with directions, information about where to eat etc. Beppe was very sweet in checking us in and provided a crib for our little one which was helpful. The suite is a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures because the ceiling height in the loft and bathroom is low. We are both tall, so the sleeping area was challenging as we were not able to stand up straight, and the shower was also a tight fit for both of us.
It is very centrally located, on the ground floor and with the windows open for airflow, it was pretty loud, especially for our little one who goes to sleep early. WIreless was not working, but we were able to access outside on the front stoop via the small market just out front. The other issue for us, was the location right next to the church - the bells ring on the half hour through the night, which repeatedly woke up our 15 month old and left us exhausted in the morning. Would work well if you are not tall or when the weather is cooler so windows could be closed.
