The location of this bnb cannot be beat! Excellent condition and exactly like the picture.
Like others mentioned, the main bedroom does have a low ceiling (those over 6 feet will need to watch their head), but the place has excellent amenities and nearby markets!
Luggage storage was included and made hiking on our last day nice an easy. Thank you so much Francesca and Beppe!
Our stay in Corniglia was fantastic. The location was very good (though almost everything in Corniglia is central due to it's small size) and it was very easy to feel like part of the town. Beppe, Francesca's father, was at the apartment when we arrived and was extremely kind. He had cleaned the apartment very thoroughly and left us some small things for breakfast. The only negative to think of was the fickle WiFi, but in a town of only a few hundred, I wouldn't expect to find much better.
After visiting each of the towns, we were very glad to have stayed in Corniglia as it felt the most untouched of all them. While the others were lined with touristy restaurants and shops, Corniglia had restaurants and cafes that looked frequented by locals as well as tourists. Corniglia felt like it had absorbed its tourism rather than let itself become defined by it.
Anyways, staying at Beppe and Francesca's was exactly what we wanted from the Cinqterre, and we recommend them to all.
Bepe and Francesca were fantastic! This was our favorite leg of our trip and mainly because we had such a good experience at this place. Francesca welcomed us when we arrived and helped us settle in. Bepe was there at a moment's notice if we had a question or needed anything. They are both so kind!
The place is quaint and cozy but had everything we needed. It is in a central location close to everything in Corniglia. There is even a cute little cafe just outside the door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!!
Our experience in Corniglia was amazing. We loved every minute of it and didn't want to leave! It was nice to stay in a smaller town and the appartment was in a really good location. Beppe was very welcoming - keeping us well supplied with local lemons and homemade jam. Although the appartment was small, it suited us fine.
This apartment matched the photos and description perfectly. The village we stayed in was very quiet and quaint. We were greeted by Beppe, Francesca's 80 year old father who was very endearing. Although he didn't speak any English, he was able to communicate well enough through gestures and with our limited Italian. He provided breakfast including his homemade marmalade abs showed us where everything wad in the apartment. Francesca provided us with great recommendations for where to eat as well. The one minor issue was that the apartment was very close to a church with bells that chimed on the hour. I slept through it for the most part, so if your a heavy sleeper, it wouldn't be a problem.
Francesca was very communicative in the days between booking and arrival. Her father, Beppe, met us at the apartment. A very kind man - he left tea, coffee and homemade jam for us. The apartment was cute, though different than I was expecting. I misread the lines below the picture and thought there was a terrace. It's not suitable for anyone over 5'7" - the ceilings are all very low. Quiet and nice location in the center of the villages. Easily accessible from the train by taking the stairs or the bus. Wifi was pretty terrible and very spotty.
Amazing experience. The space was great centrally located. And I feel like the stay came w the beautiful town of corniglia. Everyone treated each other like family. The home was spacious enough for my girlfriend and I to entertain three other friends for dinner.
Francesca's father and maybe mother or grand mother? Were our upstairs neighbors and they were very polite and hospitable. Thank you!
