Guest Access

Guests can have access to all common areas i.e. bathroom, kitchen and living room. There's a little sitting area in the patio outside the kitchen they can also use.

Interaction with Guests

As the flat is my permanent residence I will most likely be there too. I am very friendly and sociable and love getting to know my guests but at the same time I totally respect their privacy.

The Neighborhood

This is a very residential neighbourhood with mainly families and couples. It's 100% safe whilst located in a quite central district with easy access to the city centre. There's a lovely central square only minutes away from the flat where you can enjoy a nice meal or a few drinks. The low rising buildings add a special feel to this area that contrasts with the normal cityscape of Athens with its tall block of flats.

Getting around

The underground station Dafni is 10' walking distance. You can also get there by bus if you don't feel like walking. From Dafni you can reach Acropolis within 4 stops or Athens' city centre within 8 minutes. As the flat is located in the central south district you can access easily the beach front of Athens and the south districts where you can have a walk along the beach or enjoy your meal just a few metres away from the sea.

  • We were having a fantastic time in Christina's lovely house. She is super cordial and hospitable, willing to assist any problem in term of sights in Athens. The room and the house are awesome, we felt warm and home-like. This is absolutely the best place I recommend to stay in Athens. Love Christina xx.

  • Christina and Argiris were such wonderful hosts that my boyfriend and I decided to stay with them a second time! We had originally planned to stay one night on a stopover from Athens to Crete, but decided that an extra two nights between Crete and heading back to NYC was the perfect way to end our vacation. Not only is their flat clean, fun, and adorable, but they picked us up from the train station, enjoyed drinks with us, pointed us to fun neighborhoods and restaurants and bars, connected us with a friend of theirs in Crete, and are generally very friendly, interesting people. Hopefully we will stay in touch and see each other on this side of the Atlantic!

  • We stayed at Christina's for three nights and it was our first time using airbnb. The experience was through-out fantastic. I would go again anytime. Christina came to pick us up from the metro station and at her flat were waiting her boyfriend, two adorable cats and dinner! We talked openly and they really made us feel welcome. The flat was exactly like in the pictures and everything was at our disposal. Christina gave us great tips on where to go and what to do in Athens and she also helped us plan our island hopping trip. Christina really went out of her way to help us and make us feel at home but also gave us space. What I valued the most was how Christina made us feel like we could her ask anything. They were indeed the best hosts in Athens!

  • Staying at Christina's place was our first experience with AirBNB and I must say that it was an extremely positive experience. Christina and Argiris are magnificent hosts. They are both very warm and welcoming. We felt very comfortable as they welcomed us into their clean and tidy home. Both Christina and Argiris are very sociable and have provided us with great recommendations in terms of what to explore in the city and some great restaurant suggestions. We had some interesting conversations with our hosts and would even say that their company is one of the highlights of our visit in Athens. We were even offered some food and drinks and were even driven to the station as we departed. All in all, we had a great time with them and hope to see them in the future again.

  • I had a wonderful stay with Christina. She fed me dinner and we talked for a long time. She gave me all kinds of ideas and directions with walking and public transportation. She was very helpful. I had a wonderful time.

  • The heading is spot on - you'll find the best hosts in Athens at this place. Christina and her partner were very accommodating to our late arrival and very early departure. Christina even woke up at 545am to get us a taxi. The room is perfect for a tired traveller - it's quiet and dark - I think I had my best sleep there in weeks! While its not super close to the metro it's a reasonable walking distance that it wasn't a major problem to find - just keep an eye on your map to make sure you're on the right street. Very cool apartment with 2 very playful cats!

  • Christina and her boyfriend were really great hosts. We felt like we were in the house of our friends, not people we just met. House is very nice, room too. Position is good and really safe. Our impression of Athens is improved because of them.

  • Christina was an awesome host! It was really sweet of her to pick us up from Dafni station. She gave us lots of recommendations on places to visit and eat during our short stay in Athens. The room was clean and everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend her place to everyone

  • My boyfriend and I stayed at Christina's apartment for one night at the beginning of our trip to Greece and one night at the end. She was very easy and quick to communicate with, her place was very clean and well-represented by the photos, and she and her boyfriend were a pleasure to get to know. She gave us advice on things to do around Athens and she even researched islands for us to travel to when we mentioned that we had a few unplanned days. She and her boyfriend were really friendly and even shared some delicious food that they had made together. They gave us enough space to do our own thing but they were also available whenever we needed anything. We're very happy that we decided to stay with Christina!

  • During my 3 weeks of travel within Europe, stay at Christina's place was the best experience. Traveling is about seeing new places, meeting new people and learning about local culture. If you are interested in all of them, look no further while visiting Athens. As the tag line indicates, Christina and her boyfriend are indeed the best hosts you can have in Athens - at least nothing can get better than this.

My ship was delayed by an hour coming from Pireaus. I reached their place after 1 am! Christina was patiently waiting for me and even gave all the necessary directions to come to her place so late in the night. She even gave me her iPhone charger for use during my stay as something went wrong with mine.

What made Christina different than other hosts I have stayed with is her passion to travel and her desire to know about other cultures and fellow travellers. Hence she is very keen in providing you with lot of tips and guidances. She takes lot of interest in knowing about your travel experiences and shares her travel plans.

I stayed with them only for two nights but at the end I left with the desire of staying longer here just because of the hospitality I received at this place. Unfortunately Athens was the last stop in my trip and I couldn't have stayed longer.

During my short stay, Christina and her boyfriend ( who is gem of a person) invited me for a open air cinema (which unfortunately I couldn't join), but we met for drinks after the movie. We had lot of interesting conversations at breakfast table and Christina even dropped me to metro station more than once. She took me to a nice coffee place the day I was leaving.

Christina has decorated her place very aesthetically. It's very tidy, and pretty. She has two adorable cats. She makes you feel like you are not a guest but her family member - an experience I had only at her place during my whole Europe trip. Greeks are known to be very warm and welcoming and I experienced that during my 5 day visit to Greece. And she exemplified this.

Her place is located 10 mins walk from a metro line which goes directly to Acropolis. Try all kinds of Greek food - everything on menu is excellent.

This place leaves you with a desire of coming back again. I can only say that I have now found a new friend in Greece.

I am very sociable and I love travelling and meeting people from all over the world. I also love animals - I am the proud owner of 2 adorable cats. I speak English and Italian and a bit of German. I have lived and worked in the UK and Germany but for the past 3 years I have returned to my hometown - Athens. I like to consider myself as an open-minded and self motivated individual. I am always looking for experiences that can make me a more complete person. I have the enthusiasm of a child which can sometimes prove to be stupid, but I live my life with no regrets. I am a terrible cook but I appreciate good food so I know a lot of great places to go and eat! I share the flat with my boyfriend. We are both very friendly and ready to be of any assistance during your stay in Athens! I look forward to meeting you!
