This property is a diamond in the rough. They're so attentive and responsive. A part was malfunctioning on the stove and they were right on top of it. Thank you for everything. We'll be back.
Alex and Meg's cottage was wonderful. It was spacious and cozy at the same time, giving our group the perfect amount of space. We loved the bedroom on the porch and the open kitchen made it easy to hang out and cook dinner. It was great a great location for exploring Tomales Bay and hiking in Point Reyes. I'm already thinking about a new excuse to come back and stay again!
The listing description was perfect. Our host left us a bottle of wine on the counter which was very sweet. The house was immaculate and we all of the amenities worked perfectly. There was a few things that were quirky with the house and the hosts proactively informed us on how to deal with them.
Beautiful location, and a cozy house. We fell asleep to the sound of waves lapping on the shore beneath us. Everything went smoothly.
We absolutely loved our 2 days at the High Tide Cottage! The place is incredible -- perfect location right on the Tomales Bay, with spectacular views! The kitchen was perfect, as we cooked both nights , with a great stove!! It is very private and quiet. We sat out on the deck in the morning and watched great blue herons, egrets and ducks right in front of the house. I highly recommend it!
The high tide cottage and annex could not be in a more amazing location. The living room is very cozy and the piano kept us entertained through the night. It is a wonderful setting to gather and observe the glory of the bay. All the amenities are there as well. We loved it.
Reserved the cottage and annex for a 4 person, 2.5 day work writing retreat. The house worked well for this purpose, with 5 sleeping areas, 2.5 bathrooms, an Internet connection and hard phone line available, although cell reception was non-existent. The cottage was beautiful, the view gorgeous, and I would return for a vacation (and not just a work-related outing). The kitchen hosted a 6-burner stone, plenty of countertop, though a small frig (additional frig space was available in a frig on the deck). The annex was a separate space with an adjoining door to the main house and a separate door to the deck. Alex & Meg left a bottle of wine and chocolate for us on the counter. They responded within an hour to questions (using the Internet since cell calls were not possible). Overall, a great experience, great place, in a gorgeous setting.
