My husband and I had a nice visit. Breakfast was scrumptious and plentiful. The dining area was so cute and pretty with an Alice and Wonderland theme. We will defiantly visit again.
Gracious host, comfortable room, nice breakfast. Only issue was we couldn't lower the temperature in room #1. We would recommend it.
Karen was very warm, accomodating and welcoming and helped to make our stay very pleasant indeed. She went out of her way to make sure we had every thing we needed.
For anyone who is a light sleeper I recommend you take ear plugs because Karen's house is close to the road and the traffic noise started early in the morning.
Very nice room and house. Comfortable bed. The host made a tasty breakfast in the morning. Easy to get to and find. Matched the listing.
Nice house on the river. We arrived late after a long day of driving, but Karen graciously stayed up, and made us feel welcome.
Karen and Vincent were lovely and helpful. The room was comfortable the shower was powerful, Which is always appreciated when you have thick hair like mine. Breakfast was delicious and intimate. We sat at a tall table with some other folks which I thought was nice. It was a last minute stop, but it worked out well.
Karen was lovely, very welcoming with her partner! They helped us with information for the ferry from St. John to Digby. The breakfast was AMAZING!! Eggs, bacon, toasts, coffee, fruits, wow, they overdid themselves. We slept very well, there was air conditioning and the bed was very comfortable!

I am a single woman living between Maine, Connecticut, and Fiorida.. I run a seasonal bed and breakfast in my riverfront home in Calais, Maine. I enjoy travel and meeting people from all parts of the world and hosting a bed and breakfast has been a wonderful way to accomplish just that.
