If you like to step out of an antique building and be in front of the Vatican with Sant Peters and the Sistine chapel, the Leonine Walls to your right and in short walking distance to Castel Sant Angelo ( 0.2miles), the Vatican Museum ( 0.3 miles ), Piazza Navona ( 0.6 miles ), Piazza del Popolo ( 0.8 miles ), Ara Pacis (0.7 miles ), Mausoleo of Adrian and the centre of Rome with famous Via Condotti and the small side streets with its italian style boutiques and excellent fine dining restaurants as well as the more casual trattorias, this is the place to stay.
The apartment on the second floor - completely renovated and newly decorated in June 2012 - hosts perfectly a family of 5 or group of friends.
The "Palazzo" is an antique buidling with its typical roman atmosphere inside, old walls, staircase and doors and an incredible nice view from the roof top ( not decorated but great to have a look and take some pictures ). Downstairs there is a typical italian breakfast bar, a trattoria and a small supermarket is around the corner. Great infrastructure with busses in front.
The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed plus a convertible sofabed for one guest, the other one with two single beds. The bathroom ( as all the other rooms ) is brandnew and full of light and has a comfortable shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and gives the possibility to cook and enjoy breakfast and lunch or dinners during sightseeingor shopping tours, there is a comfortable dining table in the living room (website hidden), wifi!!! The apartment is nicely decorated, modern and with lots of light wich is a nice counterpart to the antique buildings, sightseeing spots and the medieveal surrounding of Borgo Pio.

The appartment is very well located and equipped! It's big and cozy for four people, in our case we were two couples... The heating system functions very well and the app overall is great. Our only problem was that the person in charge of receiving was very late. But the rest was great and the comunication with Alessia and Gabriele was perfect!
Hope to come back!
We had a great time in Rome and this apartment was so nice to come home to every night. The location is great, with St. Peter's just down the street, and restaurants and a little grocery store on the street below the apartment. We walked to Piazza Navona every night and saw St. Peter's every day. It is a little noisy from the street, but we have two toddlers and the noise didn't bother them at all (especially the one in the back room). The host was great responding to emails and arranged for a car to pick us up and take us back to the airport. She also had a crib and a highchair for us to use, which was great. The apartment had all the things we needed, except we did run out of toilet paper (yeah for the downstairs market).
We did not love that there wasn't an elevator. I had read it in the reviews but didn't realize what a pain it would be to carrying my toddlers and their stroller up and down the stairs every time (duh). So I'm not sure we would stay here again if returning to Rome while we still have toddlers. Also, the internet was not great, which is annoying when you are trying to look up locations and maps and all the other things we do on the internet. It would just stop working, and that happened every time we used it. Thankfully, unplugging the modem and plugging it back in would usually get it back up and running (until the next time).
We didn't contact the host about it because we were there over the Christmas holidays and we didn't think it was bad enough to call them and interrupt their celebrations-I'm sure she would have tried to fix it if we had called about it.
Since we were there for Christmas, we got to see the parade that marched in front of the apartment on Christmas Day. Also the host had put a poinsettia and a little Christmas tree in the apartment with some festive tablecloths. My girls LOVED the tree. It was a nice touch.
Overall, we were very happy with our experience here!
el apartamento , la situacion y todo muy bien, recomendable total
Excellent location with access to public transport. The apartment is quite big, clean and in excellent condition. I truly recommend it for a nice stay in Rome.
Great apartment and excellent location just around the corner from St Peter's Square and great restaurants. Would definitely like to stay again another time!
Enjoyable stay in modern apartment, great location.
Would highly recommend.
This apartment suited our needs perfectly. It is clean, comfortable, and easily accommodates two couples. It is close to the Vatican, restaurants and markets. Gabriela and Alessi were very responsive and easy to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment.
The apartment was great! Walking distance to the Vatican, near many restaurants and supermarkets. Had a great time!
the location is perfect, walking distance from St Peter, Vatican Museum, Castel Saint Angelo, Piazza Navona and Pantheon.
Walking a little more you can reach many many other places, or take bus 271 at 30 meters and got to the subway to farther places.
The apartment is in good condition and comfortable, plenty of light.
Alessia was very helpful and kind, we booked the transfers to the airport using her advise, they were top level.
In summary I can recommend Alessia's department 100%.
