Located on the Moore Family land just off the main road in Ashford, WA, this little cottage is perfect for the traveling couple. Fully updated with high-end finishes and personal touches, enjoy 1 queen bed, TV with streaming service, WIFI, and a custom tile shower featuring an overhead blue-tooth speaker light. Just 4 miles to the gate of Mt. Rainier and just 2 (ish) hours from Portland and Seattle, this cottage is perfect for your next adventure. Guests must be 25 years old to book.

The space
Nestled among the PNW forest and just miles from the main gate to Mt. Rainier National Park, the Moore Family Cottage is the perfect little escape for couples or adventuring pairs. Recently taken to the studs and completely updated with custom woodworking and high-end features, this little cottage features everything you need for a cozy cabin stay with all the modern amenities you expect in the 21st century. The cottage is a guesthouse to the Moore primary residence.

Entering in from the sliding glass door, the cottage flows directly from the living space into the well-appointed custom kitchen. Boasting brand new appliances, granite countertops, and bar space for two the kitchen is outfitted with all the cooking utensils you need to cook delicious meals during your stay. Brew a cup of coffee (coffee provided) to enjoy on the covered porch in the morning or enjoy a glass of wine as the sun goes down.
The living space features a comfy sofa and smart TV ready with your favorite streaming services. Just behind the divider wall, enjoy a queen mattress with fresh linens and plush pillows, perfect for a great night’s sleep after hiking in the national park.

Step into the fully custom bathroom with a double vanity sink, incredible tile work, and a walk-in shower that will let you steam away all stress. Enjoy an overhead Bluetooth light speaker that lets you connect and play your favorite music as you shower or get ready.

On the front porch enjoy a small BBQ and dining space for two. The newly constructed covered porch allows you to sit outside even on those rainy PNW days and just enjoy the quiet droplets of rain landing around you. Enjoy a custom cedar soaking hot tub, set to a perfect 102 degrees. The red wine cedar water will have you relaxed in seconds.

Working remotely? We have you covered. From high-speed WIFI, counter space, and a brand-new washer and dryer, this cottage is perfectly set up for longer stays that allow you to come work from the mountains.

2 night minimum stay.
