About This Listing
let me present you the listing:
First of all, it is IN THE CENTRE, at Prague 2, just above Charles square, which is very nice and convenient..you can walk to all of the most important sights in no time, 5-10 mins!
You get to Wenceslas square in 7 minutes, or hop on tram no. 22 (just around the corner, goes around every 4 minutes, and has the nicest journey of all trams they say and I confirm that:-)), which takes you to the castle at Lesser town part of the city, when you have a lazy walk day :-)
The place is also close to all 3 metro lines, but you are probably not going to need it :-) You can also walk to waterfront in about 8 minutes, go for a nice walk towards the Charles bridge or the National theatre, or you can just go jogging in the morning! :-)
So basically you never have to use public transport.
Because it is so conveniently located, I do not have to emphasize that shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes, and all kinds of services are very near and all around. But still, ask for the closest/best one!
Time allowing, we will also prepare a guide book to our neighborhood :-)
YOUR PRIVATE BEDROOM, as you can see, is light, spacious and very nice.
It is fully equipped, with a folding sofa bed which could accommodate two persons, so it is ideal for a couple, firiends, and of course also for a solo traveller. There is a desk with a chair, a wardrobe with drawers, also some room for hanging clothes, and other little pieces of furniture. The bed folds into a comfortable sofa. (We also have an extra matress just in case.)
THE FLAT has two separate bedrooms (one of which is just for you), then there is a living room and a kitchen with a dining area between them, a separate toilet, a bathroom, and a little balcony.
It is rather spacious and very nice and modern, with all the appliances you may need. The kitchen is at your disposal for cooking or just making a cup of coffee..there is dishes, cutlery, cups, a kettle, an oven, a stove, a toaster, a fridge..
You are also free to do your laundry if you need to, you can naturally use our wi-fi internet, an iron, everything to make your stay even more pleasant and comfortable. What I haven´t mentioned, ask for it, if we have it, we can provide it! :-)
Bathroom and toilet are shared.
It is a non-smoking apartment (regarding that we can discuss a usage of our little balcony :-)) We separate litter, but you don´t have to do it if it is not your cup of tea.
You will have your own set of keys for the main entrance and for the flat, there is no curefew, you may come and go as you please.
So here is what you can expect in a nutshell :-)
a lovely flat with a cosy and clean room for you with:
- clean towels
- fresh bed linen
- free wifi internet
- coffee (instant and regular) and various types of tea
- salt and pepper, oil, basic seasonings if asked for
- free laundry possibility
- iron and ironing board
- lots of information and maps on sightseeing in Prague and around, and public transportation
- information and hints about our favorite places in Prague to go for a meal, a drink, or go dancing
- a hair dryer and iron
- a fan
- a smiley face of your host :-D
Take care and do not hesitate to ask for more information!
Julia and Radek
The same as the owners of the place except for their room :-)
Interaction with Guests
My job is quite demanding but I try to be online for them if they have a problem to solve or a question to ask, I try to tell them information about our flat and the city when they arrive, and I also try to meet them up during their stay to ask how they are and stuff.
The fact that it is in the center of Prague, but close to many regular shops and public transport. The possibility to basically choose anything and go for it :-)
The transportation in our area is extremely convenient. Most guests do not use public transport at all. It is nice and close to walk around. You can even walk from the train station to our place in 15 minutes. A journey from the airport takes about 50 minutes to one hour.
It is a bit harder with parking, we live in a zone where you can only stay at paid parking spots if you are not a resident.
Other Things to Note
We will let you know all you need and want to know when you get to our place :-)
So far we were very lucky and had respectful, clean, friendly, lovely guests :-) If you are one of them, you are the right person for our home :-)
Please, if you like Prague, let us know, feel free to add 3 FAVORITE THINGS, EXPERIENCE, FEELINGS, PLACES or anything you liked about and in Prague the most. It will also help other guests :-)
From Jun 1 - Aug 31, 2015 the minimum stay is 3 nights.

They helped us with suggestions and the appartement was cosy.
I strongly recommened them
Thanks to Julia & Radek for making my trip to Prague such a memorable experience. They both were so hospitable and fun! Their place is cosy and the location is really great! To definitely had a fantastic time! Thanks guys!
Our stay with Julia was amazing! She provided everything we needed and gave us helpful tips and directions to anywhere we wanted to go. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, the apartment was great, and the location can not be beat! You can walk almost everywhere from the apartment. We had to change our plans last minute and Julia and Radek were very accommodating! We really loved our stay
Hi Julia and Radek,
Thank you so much for the warming welcome (sorry it was late in the evening), but very nice :). Flat is great, all very clean and organized. Julia from the moment I made a reservation she e-mailed me all the possible ways to come to her place.
Room very nice and clean as the whole flat also. Very close to town (10 to 15 minutes walking). I only used public transportation on the last day, to go back to the airport. Julia gave all kind of useful information about Prague. They've also gave me loads of tips, such as "mama cafe" and the vegan restaurant that they kindly took me on my second night (loved it)! I definitely recommend, and will be back at there's next time :). Julia and Radek Thank you so much :)
My stay at Julia's was amazing. great distance to walk everywhere!! beautiful city! cute place to stay for 3nights! i would def. come back if i get a chance! thanks Julia!
Julia and Radek were amazing hosts! And Prague is a wonderful city - lots of great sites, architecture, art, restaurants, cafes, and bars. I mostly interacted with Julia as Radek doesn't speak much English (but he's still friendly and helpful). They both work a lot but Julia always took time at the end of the day to ask how your day went and if she can help out. She was always available to answer any questions I had. Julia has some great recommendations for restaurants, cafes, and site seeing places. Take advantage of her expertise. I sure did and was never disapointed! I loved every one of the places she suggested, and avoided the tourist traps that she warned me of. It's great to have a local's perspective! She also has the room stocked with brochures, business cards, and guidebooks and maps to Prague so you can go out on your own. Very helpful.
The apartment is very clean and cosy and your room is pretty large and bright. The listing description was very accurate. Their apartment is centrally located for walking, just ten minutes to Vysehrad, 15 minutes from the train station, 15-20 minutes to Old Town and 30 minutes to the Prague Castle. I never used the public transportation until the last day, when Julia and Radek actually helped carry my bags, showed me how to buy a ticket, and which train to take. Friendly and helpful to the very end! I heartly recommend staying with Julia and Radek when you visit Prague! They made for a wonderful first time visit to this city.
Julia´s and Radek´s place is a cosy, nice and very clean apartment in the city center of Prague. They are super nice people and very lovely hosts. They had great tipps for us where to go, eat or drink and were very friendly and hostile. The apartment is in walking distance to all sights but it´s far enough from all the tourist trouble. The room is nice and full of good advice for tourists, just the futon was very hard for our taste but for a few days it was ok. We had a great week in Prague and are happy we met J+R :-) It was our first Airbnb experience and won´t be the last. We hardly recommend to stay there!
