Attractive and more spacious than it looks, The Allenaire is a popular home that can sleep from 1-8 guests. Making this home a great choice for girlfriend weekends, couples getaways or combined families that don't need private sleeping spaces.
The kitchen comes fully equipped and ready to entertain. From the coffee pot to the toaster and crock pot, you will be able to make any meal with ease. Enjoy the extra eating space at the breakfast bar, as you converse with the chefs or do a quick email check. While eating in the dining area look out on the woody landscape, and patio area where you might decide to bbq that night.
Relax and settle into the evening, get a fire going in the wood stove or watch some television or put in a movie (VCR/DVD). There is also Wi-Fi available for surfing the web. There are plenty of games, decks of cards, or book to choose from if you feel like an old fashion evening is in store.
At night there are (3) sleeper sofas to choose from. Or perhaps you would choose the trundle bed for lounging on while thinking of the days activities or what to do tomorrow. Relax in the cozy bedroom, a queen size mission style bed awaits. There are (2) bathrooms in the home, one full bath upstairs and a standing shower downstairs.
Ohh, and don't forget you can bring the pet as well (NO FEE). There are pet towels for wipe downs after a beach run and even a small enclosure area for those that need it.

The House is exactly as described , and it is beautiful. There was a nice "You've made it" welcome letter and treats, as well as a very thourough booklet with information about the home.
The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet and was a perfect fit for our group.
Tracey was so helpful and understanding concerning our last minute needs for a place due to a memorial service we were attending in town. She was quick to respond to every inquiry and the house was clean and stocked with all the amenities. The fire place was wonderful for a stormy Saturday night at the beach!
Our group really enjoyed our overnight stay here. The treacherous weather gave us an excuse to cozy up by the wood stove and play games. Tracey was very prompt and thorough in all of her correspondence, so the logistics also went rather smoothly.
Great place and the owner made an effort to let us check in early. Had a great time with the whole family. 11am check out with a very extensive DIY clean up list including vacuuming, all dishes washed/put away, and linens washed, ect. However, the cleaning fees were low so no real complaints here.
This Manzanita rental house is in a great area of town right off of 3rd Street. It's about a 10 minute walk to town or the beach. Very quiet location. Easy parking. The house is very cozy even when it's 22 degrees out and the wind is blowing. There is a wood stove and lots of wood for your use. The kitchen is great with everything you will need to make delicious food. There is a full size frig, stove and dishwasher. There are many windows and even in the winter the house seemed bright. You can hear the ocean when sleeping in the upstairs bedroom ~ what a lovely sound. Tracey Curtis is great to work with and will be able to answer any questions that you have. She is very prompt.
The House was cozy and quite nice. The dog policy was great. It was a short walk to the Sandduner and a short walk to the Beach. Kitchen is well appointed even has large pots for crabs if you go get some.
The housing quarters are not super private so if your more than 2 couples I wouldn't use this as a romantic getaway. But for a couple or or a small family it would do great.
A gorgeous and welcoming place in Manzanita. Wonderful open floor plan made it the perfect place to spend time with friends and the full kitchen was well-equipped for cooking for the group. Nice walk to the beach didn't hurt either.

I am originally from Alaska, where I grew up on an island in SE Alaska, aka the famous Inside Passage where all the cruise ships go...love cruising. That is probably where I got my itch to travel. There are only two ways off an island, boat or plane. Luckily those long dark winters give you lots of time to think of other places to be. So now, I am trying to get to all the ones I can remember, places others have recommended, and have found a few more destinations to add to the list.
I am now an Alaskan transplanted to the beautiful Oregon Coast for the past, wow 20+ years now. It reminds me of home, only with the benefits of cheaper airline tickets, and the ability to get in the car and drive more than 20 miles..on pavement too.
I have lived in Nehalem, Or for the past 20+ years and just love being on the Oregon coast. The Nehalem Bay area & N Oregon coast is an incredible place to live, for us lucky few, and to visit. There is great hiking, fishing, beach combing, restaurants, shopping, and tons more to do here all while having the stunning Pacific Ocean to the west and the Coastal Mnt Range to the east.
Loves to travel for new smells, sounds, food, people, and language. My favorite places include Palm Springs, Barbados, Vegas, and anywhere in France, Greece, or Spain and am adding Portugal (added June '14). Dying to go to Brazil, Maldives, Morocco, Istanbul, Dubai and_________ (fill in the blank).
