About this listing
1 bedroom, 2 bath home able to sleep up to 8. Perfect for couples, small families or a group/slumber party atmosphere.

Tracey was very responsive. She's got a VERY detailed set of instructions for checking in and out, but they are mostly helpful, not a hindrance. The keys are self-service so check-in wasn't dependent on our ability to meet up, very convenient. The home is very comfortable, its got a nice master suite upstairs. Also upstairs is a "landing" right outside of the master suite with a dresser, closet, and pullout bed. Downstairs their is a living room with wood burning stove (wood provided) and pullout trundle (daybed). The main living room is another area downstairs with pull out couch, sofa, dining area, open (large) kitchen that was well stocked. This was SUPER comfortable for my girlfriend and I for a week, and could easily sleep more, but we enjoyed the extra space. House has dated/weird style furnishings but they are in good shape and clean, we quickly forgot about the funny style (main couch in living room has GOLF print, LOL) and appreciated that the home was newer, had ample heat/air, nice windows, washer/dryer, 2 bathrooms, and everything was clean. The kitchen has all manner of cookware, utensils, plates, etc. that you could hope for. There are lots of condiments and spices in 1 cabinet that have surely collected from previous guests and were actually helpful to us. The town is AMAZING! It's quaint, 700 permanent residents but 3,000 homes, 2.5 grocery stores, 1 fine dining, 1 fast mexican food, 1 sit-down mexican food, 1 pizza joint, and....lots of cute shops. beach is a nice 11 minute walk from the house...oh yeahhhhhh THE BEACH..The beach is AWESOME... it's very deep (lots of sand between the road and the water, and its 7 miles long/wide so it goes on and on. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Very quiet and cozy as heck. Loved the location and all amenities were top notch. Thanks for canine friendly quarters!!
This is the second time that we stayed at this house. It's everything you need and more in Manzanita.
Super cute beach house, close to town and family friendly. Quick drive up to Cannon Beach if you want to do more shopping. We loved the big kitchen and covered patio. Great for a couples retreat or a family getaway.
Tracy was very helpful. She allowed us to check in early on our day of arrival. The house is nice and comfortable. There is only one room with several beds so sleeping arrangements might be a problem for those who require more privacy but for us it was great. House was cozy and clean and there is nice outdoor seating area that we utilized to get some tan and have breakfast in the morning. We drove our car to the beach because we forgot our stroller but beach and restaurants are walking distance from the house.
Tracey was very helpful and provided a clear description of the property. The location of the house is quiet yet not too far from the beach or happenings in town. The layout of the house is a little unusual as there is only one actual bedroom. It was great for our situation - group of friends with dogs - sort of a fun slumber party atmosphere. A family with kids would love it too. We found a "secret" path down to the beach and Neahkahnie park - great little hike! The house if very clean despite allowing any number of dogs - so expect to leave it that way in return.

About the Host, Tracey
I am originally from Alaska, where I grew up on an island in SE Alaska, aka the famous Inside Passage where all the cruise ships go...love cruising. That is probably where I got my itch to travel. There are only two ways off an island, boat or plane. Luckily those long dark winters give you lots of time to think of other places to be. So now, I am trying to get to all the ones I can remember, places others have recommended, and have found a few more destinations to add to the list.
I am now an Alaskan transplanted to the beautiful Oregon Coast for the past, wow 20+ years now. It reminds me of home, only with the benefits of cheaper airline tickets, and the ability to get in the car and drive more than 20 miles..on pavement too.
I have lived in Nehalem, Or for the past 20+ years and just love being on the Oregon coast. The Nehalem Bay area & N Oregon coast is an incredible place to live, for us lucky few, and to visit. There is great hiking, fishing, beach combing, restaurants, shopping, and tons more to do here all while having the stunning Pacific Ocean to the west and the Coastal Mnt Range to the east.
Loves to travel for new smells, sounds, food, people, and language. My favorite places include Palm Springs, Barbados, Vegas, and anywhere in France, Greece, or Spain and am adding Portugal (added June '14). Dying to go to Brazil, Maldives, Morocco, Istanbul, Dubai and_________ (fill in the blank).
