The Space

Attractive and more spacious than it looks, The Allenaire is a popular home that can sleep from 1-8 guests. Making this home a great choice for girlfriend weekends, couples getaways or combined families that don't need private sleeping spaces.

The kitchen comes fully equipped and ready to entertain. From the coffee pot to the toaster and crock pot, you will be able to make any meal with ease. Relax in the cozy bedroom, a queen size mission style bed awaits. There are (2) bathrooms in the home, one full bath upstairs and a standing shower downstairs.

Ohh, and don't forget you can bring the pet as well (NO FEE). There are pet towels for wipe downs after a beach run and even a small enclosure area for those that need it.

  • Beautiful, well-furnished house in a leafy, quiet setting on the north side of Laneda. We liked it very much!

  • Wonderful week at the beach! Although this house is not beach front, it is within easy walking distance of the beach (maybe 5-10 min). With it's deep roof over the porch it is great protection from the rain, however sun friendly it is not. We had to move out to the sun line in the pictures to enjoy the sun while trying to catch the last rays before sunset. House is comfortable, nice kitchen and laundry facilities.

  • This was a wonderful rental! We felt totally cozy and at home. It was very clean. The location was great. We had never stayed in Manzanita before, so it was great to be close to the beach and the small town just around the corner. We could easily walked everywhere (beach, downtown Manzanita, etc.) The space had all the amenities and more. Tracey was great throughout the whole process. Very responsive and friendly. Loved it all and highly recommend it. Thank you, Tracey!

  • This is the second time we've stayed at this location, and it was great. It's very clean and well kept, and I love that we can bring our dogs! We will definitely stay again.

  • This house is a great value and the wood stove (which I had stoked up the whole time) made it very cozy. It is not located on the beach or within view, but is on a nice lot in a very quiet area. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed for cooking at home. The bed upstairs and little sitting area on the landing were very comfy and get great natural light. I did not meet Tracey, though she did offer and provided everything I felt I needed via email communication.

I lucked out with amazing, calm weather and mind-blowing sunsets during my evening walks on the beautiful stretch of beach! January is such a great time to be at the Oregon coast. It was just the getaway that I needed.

  • We have gone to Manzanita often and usually stay down in the flats near the main part of town. This home up in the hills north of town was a good value and a 10 minute walk to beach or town. Kitchen was well set up. Clean, light and airy. Suitable for groups who don't need private sleeping spaces since there is just one bedroom.

  • Hi Tracey. Thank you for all your help in our reservation and arrival process. We really enjoyed the use of the home. It accommodated all 7 of us very nicely. While we where only there for one day we would rent this home again.

    Thank you

  • This was my first Air BnB experience and it went perfect! The house was beautiful, Tracey was quick to respond to all of my questions, it was perfect!

  • The house in Manzanita suited my family very well. My two kids loved the house and the Barney and Friends VHS tape. The house is a bit of a walk down a steep street, but still manageable . Tracey is very pleasant to deal with - she takes good care of the house

  • Great house and location. Tracey was very attentive and a pleasure to deal with. Everything done via email with no need for calls or face to face meetings. 100% professional.

I am originally from Alaska, where I grew up on an island in SE Alaska, aka the famous Inside Passage. That is probably where I got my itch to travel. There are only two ways off an island, boat or plane. Luckily those long dark winters give you lots of time to think of other places to be. So now, I am trying to get to all the ones I can remember, places others have recommended, and have found a few more destinations to add to the list. I am now an Alaskan transplanted to the beautiful Oregon Coast for the past, wow 20+ years now. It reminds me of home, only with the benefits of cheaper airline tickets, and the ability to get in the car and drive more than 20 miles..on pavement too. I have lived in Nehalem, Or for the past 20 years and just love being on the Oregon coast. The Nehalem Bay area & N Oregon coast is an incredible place to live, for us lucky few, and to visit. There is great hiking, fishing, beach combing, restaurants, shopping, and tons more to do here all while having the stunning Pacific Ocean in the background. Loves to travel for new smells, sounds, food, people, and language. My favorite places include Palm Springs, Barbados, Vegas, and anywhere in France, Greece, or Spain. Dying to go to Brazil, Maldives, Morocco, Istanbul, Dubai and_________ (fill in the blank). "Like all great travelers, I have seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen."
