About this listing
Our central, comfortable and airy apartment is a true gem! Located smack in the centre of Akureyri, with stunning view and personal decor, plenty of books to read on a rainy day and easy to reach activities, swimming, museums, cafés and restaurants.
Top floor of a historic house smack down town Akureyri. It is very bright and airy. There are two bedrooms; one master bedroom and another with two 90x200 cm beds that can be put together. The kitchen is very convenient and open, electric burners and oven. The view over the harbor and the neighboring mountains is breathtaking. Free reserved parking, close to main bus station and buzzing down town with lots of restaurants and bars. Two minuet walk to the very active visual scene and to the theater. The public transit in Akureyri is free of charge! Pretty balcony perfect for lunching, reading and observing. What make the place unique is how excellently restored it is, bright and the location is perfect! Our neighbors are quiet, friendly and helpful. Ideal for couples with or without children. We are easy going hosts who love to share our home while we are away.
Interaction with guests
Usually we are away when our guests check in and out but it is alway easy to reach us.
this is our home and we expect our guests to treat it as such. We will hand over the apartment in a very clean condition and want to walk into it the same as when we leave it. There is no smoking inside but if you must catch a smoke the balcony is perfect. It is an old house and we like our neighbors very much so respect that. We leave a further guidance for you once you arrive regarding where to dispose of trash, recycling etc.
