The treehouse cabin was wonderful. It is cozy, has a great kitchen, has a great fireplace, and a jukebox. It's about a 30 min drive to Breckenridge to ski. We enjoyed our time there and would love to stay there again sometime.
Hilary was very nice and was very easy to communicate. Her tree house is big, beautiful and has all the necessary facilities. House is very dog friendly. Juke box is one of the best part of the house. All my friends had a very good weekend. I definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to go back.
I found Hilary to be a very understanding and reasonable host. I would definitely recommend her.
Hilary's house was wonderful. It is a spacious and scenic location that had every amenity. A fully stocked kitchen, cable and internet, and gas/wood fireplace made the experience unforgettable. This will go down as one of the all-time great vacations I've taken, and her house will be a part of it.
My family and I spent 5 nights at the the Treehouse and loved every minute. The house was warm and cozy with the cabin atmosphere we were looking for. We look forward to going back for future vacations.
We really wanted to get away from the commercial areas of Colorado for our Thanksgiving holiday with the family. The Treehouse was perfect. Located 25-20 minutes outside of Breckenridge, it's the best location to commune with nature. Hands down, sledding down the backyard was our favorite activity. The Treehouse decor was upscale. The floor plan was more than the spacious for our group's needs. The fact the closets are empty to hang clothes and bathrooms clean created a feeling of staying at a luxury hotel offering designer toiletries. It was so fun to cook in the Chef sized kitchen well stocked with kitchen tools. We especially loved the Golden Retriever that magically appeared at our doorstep to pose for pictures with us and frolic in the snow.
At the Treehouse you will notice the professional attention to detail in every aspect. On many levels, It is the best accommodation we have found on Airbnb.
I could not speak higher of our Treehouse experience and my communications with Hilary Lyon. Hilary was extremely prompt in responses to questions, and the house was exactly as she said it was.
Our family of 9 spent a week there and every one of us can't wait to return. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out, prepare meals together, and it is always wonderful when our dogs can join us. The location is great to take on hikes, rafting, or to just enjoy the nearby towns of Breckenridge and Fairplay.
As a special treat, I got to meet Hilary and her husband, which made the experience even better.
This was our first home rental experience and Hilary has now set the standard to which all others will be compared. We now think of this home as our Breckenridge escape from the heat of Texas and will definitely be regular tenants.
Hilary 's house is amazing, and she made our stay there very enjoyable. The house is 15 miles away from Breck (takes a bit more time when you want to ski every day), but the house made it totally worth it. The minute you walked in, made you feel like at home.
Hilary was very helpful and communicative all the way through, and very flexible in terms of check in and check out hours (our flights were a bit crazy).
We hope to repeat our stay in Hilary's house in the future!
This was our first airbnb rental, and we were very impressed. The communication and reservation process was quick and painless, and Hilary was very helpful, especially since we were booking it at the last minute. We had a great stay over a long weekend with our family and neighbors at the "Treehouse". It's in a beautiful location nestled in the wooded hills about 15 miles south of Breckenridge Ski Area (the house is technically just outside of Alma). Depending on the weather, the drive over Hoosier Pass to the ski area could take a bit of time, but we enjoyed staying somewhere that was quite and away from all of the crowds. The house had a ton of space, with a good size great room and dining room to come together with everyone, as well as a bedroom layout (master on the top floor, two rooms on the main floor, and a fourth room downstairs) that also provided privacy for couples. The house was very clean and well-appointed...comfortable without being ostentatious. The kids loved the animal skins/furs on the floors, the bunkbeds were a definite hit, sledding on the small hill beside/behind the house was a blast, but the highlight for them was lighting and watching the soapstone fireplace (warmed the whole house on a snowy day). We also enjoyed being able to vacation with our dog, since the house is pet-friendly. We will definitely be back!
My family and I absolutely loved this beautiful mountain home. The house had everything we needed. Surrounded by beautiful views never hurts either. The home is a short 15 miles to beautiful Breckenridge. Really can't beat it. Nothing but good things to say about this home. Working with Hilary was also wonderful.
