  • The location is convenient to many attractions and many restaurants are within walking distance. The picture appears to be different from the current decor. Some update will make it more attractive.

  • My sons and I stayed at Alan's apartment during our trip to Rome. Alan is an excellent host and was wonderful with my sons. His apartment is remarkably located in a vibrant part of the city and is less than the 2 minute walk from the Colosseum and about 5 minutes from the Metro stop. We had a wonderful stay in Rome, and a large part of the success of the trip was due to being able to stay at his place. I recommend both Alan and his apartment.

  • Alan is a fantastic host, he even recommended some fantastic restaurants to us during our stay which we tried and loved! The location is absolutely perfect, you couldn't ask for better if you are there to see the sites. The only complaint I have is the noise from the street very early in the morning, it is pretty bad and woke us up each day, but it was only for a few nights so not the end of the world.

  • Had a very nice stay at Alan's flat. The location is excellent (Colosseum, metro, tram, restaurants, supermarkets) and the apartment it self is comfy. We cooked 1 night and saw a DVD the other. All worked ok.
The only thing I can say is that the windows let in a lot of street noise so although the street is not busy at all you get to hear all the Vespas passing bye

  • We had a great time. The location was perfect, near the Colosseo, metro, shops and in a nice locale neighbourhood. Alan and his friends are really nice, very helpful for any question we had and always happy to make our stay in Rome wonderful.

  • Lovely apartment in a great location.
Despite being close to the Colosseum it is in a neighborhood that makes you feel like living in Rome.
A great experience of "lived-in Rome".

  • What a magical time in Rome! And how special to be living a road away from the Colosseum such that you see it every time you step out. Alan, and his flat, was simply lovely. There's no other place in Rome for me!

  • My friend and I was staying in the Allan’s apartment for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, we were not able to meet him face to face because of his work. But he promptly answered all our questions by email. But Alan's friend gave us the keys to the apartment and rendered warm welcome, so Alan’s absence in Rome did not bring problems. The apartment is spacious and located on the 5th floor of a six-storey building, on the 6th floor has an outdoor terrace. The apartment is well equipped, there are a coffee machine, hair dryer, washing machine, TV, high speed internet access via wi fi. The apartment situated in the heart of Rome near the Coliseum (near the metro station with the same name). Termini station is within 20 minutes walking pace as before Trasteverre. Nearby there are two supermarkets, a pharmacy, a variety of bars and restaurants, taxi rank. From the Colosseum metro station you can take a train to the suburbs of Rome - Lido, where there are a lot of beaches. The apartment is fully equipped for comfortable living. In general, we were satisfied. :)
