  • Absolutely loved Amsterdam. Stefan's apartment was in a great location, just outside the busy city centre in a really cool street near the RijkMuseum. The apartment is pretty much what it says and shows in the pictures and we found it really comfortable. There was an issue with the hot water on our first night, but we gave Stefan an email and he was at our door 5 minutes later and had fixed the issue, so really responsive!

Thanks for the stay, would definitely stay there again if we were to come back to Amsterdam.

  • Absolutely loved this apartment. You could not ask for a better stay in Amsterdam, close to the museums, restaurants, bars, but in a lovely quiet neighbourhood which felt very local. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, light and airy, very clean. The views from the windows are gorgeous. Gabriel's directions to the place were spot on, so getting there was quick and effortless. Stefan welcomed us kindly. Highly recommended!

    Response from Stefan:

Hey Jes! Thank you for the great recommendation!
And for the wine! Hope to meet you next time!

  • I loved staying in Gabriela, Nina and Stefan's city loft. The place had everything you could possibly need for a stay in Amsterdam including washing machine, iron & board, hair dryer, wi-fi, maps, modern kitchen and bathroom. I was really happy to see that there was also food in the fridge/pantry and fruit for me to enjoy! The location was really close to all the bars/restaurants and I felt really safe being a female travelling alone. The place was extremely clean and there was heaps of light if you wanted it!! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to a couple or solo person.

  • The apartment was exactly what it looked like in photos: spacious, light-filled, clean and very comfortable. Smells like new! The location is also very good: near the center and in a quiet neighborhood. It was very easy to arrange every detail with Gabriela. Thanks for breakfast, that bottle of wine and the information about the neighborhood. I hope to return!

  • The loft is very clean and has all the facilities that I need during my stay especially fast wifi. It's clean and is a good size for a couple (I was by myself). Even though it was a hot (rare) weekend when I was there, the loft is on the top floor and has windows on both ends creating a great cross breeze to cool the room down. The loft is very clean and neat and as shown in the photos.

The location is perfect. Very easy to get to. Make sure to follow Gabriela's directions using the bus from Schiphol. Bus 197 stops right at Rijksmusuem and it was only a 7 minute walk to the apartment from there. Very safe and easy to walk and if you're in doubt, check out (website hidden) street view beforehand so that you'd recognize what the route looks like. The bus is definitely much easier than training into centraal station and then transferring on the tram. The bus took less than 30 minutes and runs every 15 minutes or so.

There is also a small (but fully stocked) supermarket less than 10 minutes walk away to get supplies and prepared food. Leidseplein is literally right outside the door for night life and restaurants that locals go to. No need to suffer through touristy establishments in the touristy areas.

I highly recommend Gabriela's loft and will stay here again the next time I'm in Amsterdam and I urge everyone to give this a try.

  • Gabrielas apartment was perfect for my weekend stay. The Location was amazing, everything I wanted to visit was near and easy to reach. Many bars and restaurants just a few minutes away. Museumsplein was also just a footwalk away. You can see the back of the Ryksmuseum from the kitchen window. The apartment itself was beautiful and really new. I had the feeling to be the first guest. Gabriela is a really kind and wonderful host. The Contact and the check-in/out was more than uncomplicated. I would definitely recommend Gabriela's apartment! If you got to amsterdam, stay at her apartment!

  • Simple, recently renovated place with a lovely view. It has everything you need. Gabriela was very accommodating and flexible around our changing arrival and departure times. Excellent location!

  • Gabriela was an absolutely marvelous host! She was kind, thoughtful, and had thought of everything one could possibly need. The loft was gorgeous, with nice long windows that open out to the city on either end. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was the perfect size, and the shower was very nice. I believe Gabriela said that they had just finished remodeling - and it showed! Everything was new and in wonderful condition.

As for the location - you honestly can't beat it. I would HIGHLY recommend this loft to anyone looking to have a cozy place to cuddle up after long days and nights walking the canals.

About
30 year old Amsterdammer who got lucky with an apartment on a top location in the city centre. I love travelling to place in Europe and further away and am dead set on providing an enjoyable stay for anyone that comes to Amsterdam. I started this bed and breakfast with my two sisters, who occasionally host people when I am away. Next to traveling I enjoy clubbing, grabbing a beer, exotic food and weird movies. We are all quite laid back and easy to talk to, so when you stay at our place you are encouraged to ask us every little question that you may have!
