We had a lovely time in Rome at Casa do Tiziana! Vincenzo picked us up from the airport and surprised us with a cake and bottle of wine for our honeymoon and then gave us a very thorough overview of what to see in Rome. The apartment is great and well situated for public transit or walkers like us (only about 10-15 minutes walk to the coliseum). The only downside was the traffic noise outside which made it hard to get a fully peaceful sleep, but otherwise it was great!
Tiziana's house was really welcoming and charming. The first day we arrived, Vincenzo, Tiziana's father, was so kind he waited for us, as plane arrived later. He gave us some tips that we appreciated a lot, and left us some things to eat for breakfast... Nice ! Very nice neighborhood, good restaurant nearby, Core de Roma, I highly recommend it ! Metro station not too far, city centre quite close, we were able to visit almost all Roma during these lovely 5 days. Thank you so much for letting us spent the best time in the eternal city ! :)
We stayed in the apartment for 5 days. Good neighbourhood, convenient location - bus 628 takes you to Piazza Venezia, bus 630 to Termini. Via Appica is very close so you can walk there or take bus 218.
Overall, the apartment is clean and comfortable.
I recommend this apartment.
We're being in Rome 1-6.01.2015
It was a nice time!
One of the important factor was appartment. It's very beatiful and comfortable place.
Discription on the site matchs reality.
Vincenzo met us early (early train) and was kind enough to let us in. He had left us some snacks and went over the city in great detail. He had multiple maps for us and explained the bus and metro systems as well as the best way to get to the main sites.
He also told us which sites we would need to get a reservation for and which ones to wait in line for. His was very wonderful and friendly.
The place was perfectly located for us. We were able to walk everywhere. Even though it is pretty far to places like the Vatican, when you are in a beautiful city like Rome, walking is a cherished honor. It is about an hour walk to the Vatican but half that to the Colosseum.
There are a few nice markets nearby for food and a great local restaurant just a block away.
The elevator is a lot of fun!
The flat was spacious and comfortable. The bed was great and the room has a nice view of a flower shop, small dog park and the road. It was never too noisy to prevent us from sleeping. Temperature inside was great despite it being chilly outside.
Kitchen was great to cook in and had everything we needed except soap for dishes, which easily acquired for a buck at a market.
The only downside is the shower ran out of hot water relatively quick but not much faster than most places we've stayed in Europe so far.
Also, do remember that Rome requires a tax to be collected of 3.50 euro per person per day. I'd forgotten about this and it ended up costing us another 35 euro for our 5 day stay. Watch out if you are on a budget!
Thanks for everything Vincenzo, you made our stay in Rome even more fantastic.

Siamo stati accolti in aereoporto dal signor Vincenzo persona molto simpatica, accogliente e disponibile. Casa colorata e confortevole super pulita e profumata situata a 10 minuti dalla metropolitata.
