Comfy private peaceful getaway close to Terlingua, Big Bend National Park & Big Bend Ranch State Park with stunning views of mountains and dark starry skies! Easy access by car from HWY 118 drive up the 1/4 mile driveway to house.

Wifi. Clean utilitarian space, full kitchen, dining, bedroom, toilet and shower. All the basic amenities needed to relax and work in the desert.

The space
The Bedroom has a great view of Nine Point Mesa mountain. Bedroom located in back of house for extra privacy and a separate a/c unit.

A large open floor plan where your family can cook, watch Netflix, and setup an office space at the large kitchen table all in one room. With an adjoining full bathroom and private bedroom in back.

Campfire ring for outdoor cooking or attended night fire - when BURN BAN is not in effect - or no wind in the desert, wind is highly volatile to fire!!!

The shower, bathroom sink, and kitchen sink water is collected from precious rare rain water. Please use sparingly and enjoy what its like to live sustainably in the desert. Ideally 3 minute showers please.

Water here is non potable! You can not drink it. Drinking/cooking water is available just down the road 1 mile at the Little Burro Country store.

I live and work in Terlingua full time, spending my free time enjoying all the desert has to offer. I have a menagerie of animals that keep me entertained as well as a husband and daughter who keep me on my toes. I love traveling, I spent much of my youth living abroad before settling back in Texas. I love to cook, stargaze, listen to music and wrap presents :)
