The Space

Beautiful contemporary modern space in North Central Phoenix.

Renovated with contemporary finishes to match the modern architectural style of the building. That means clean lines, simple decorations and great utility. I focus on less clutter and more quality.

It's a space I created to be concrete, utilitarian, clean and relaxing. When composing it, I wanted to create a feeling of comfort for the body and the mind.

The living area is open from the kitchen to the living room, with a kitchen island as a break between the two.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pans and anything you need to create a great meal or you can just put something in the toaster oven and make it easy.

The living area has lots of seating if you want to invite guests or simply find you own comfortable way to read one of the magazines or books or to watch tv.

The bedroom is bright with a sliding door to the patio. It's lovely to sleep here with the sliding door open at night. There are extra pillows and throws in the closet if you need them.

The bathroom is a favorite of mine. For a small space it sure feels open. Double sinks, a large shower all make it very usable. Soap, shampoo, hair blower are all here.

Guest Access

Guests have access to a front fenced yard with a table and chairs shaded by two citrus trees and the more private backyard with lots of grass, shade, tables, chairs, flowers and a grill.

The back yard is shared, but please feel comfortable using it: relax on the lounge chairs, get a tan or sit on the grass with a book and smell the roses.

Interaction with Guests

The place is all yours. It's as private as you want or we're here next door if you have questions about getting around or which restaurants to go to. Access is via a lockbox, but we can meet you as well.

The Neighborhood

This is North Central Phoenix: know for being green, for the scent of orange blossoms in the spring, irrigated lots, mature trees, large ranch and modern home.

It's them middle of the city yet you can hear chickens, you may see a horse and some people have lamas: it's got character.

What I love about it besides what I wrote is that it's near so many restaurants, the Phoenix Mountains with hiking trails, several parks, one with a lake, the freeway is near by and just a bit farther are downtown Phoenix, midtown Phoenix and the Biltmore area. Everything is so close.

There are a few great restaurants near-by, even within walking distance.
Rokerij offer New Mexican food and has been here forever.

Vigs Uptown, Dick's Hideaway is like it sounds, a hideaway with no sign announcing it, except that sign that states, "unaccompanied children will be given coffee and a free kitten."

It's right next to Luci's: Luci's is a local market where many of the neighbors like to hang out. A bit further, but still close there are other great places to eat and a few micro breweries. If you want recommendations let me know.

Getting around

Like most of Phoenix, without a car it's difficult to get around. Don't count on public transportation. A bike, though, works great.

We're near the I-51 freeway so access to places like the Convention Center is quick: 15 minutes - similar for the airport.

  • Had a great experience staying at this quiet, modern and comfortable condo in Phoenix. It's conveniently located in a great neighborhood. Artur was the perfect host.

  • What an excellent experience! The condo is beautiful and Artur has set it up with all the amenities you might need. The space feels very private even though it shares a lovely patio. There is a another nice private patio facing the street. Artur communicated all the necessary details and was available if I needed to check in with him. We weren't missing a thing, there were nice towels, an iron, and even a blow dryer, great details. I would highly recommend this location set in a nice, quiet neighborhood close to many restaurants and a quick ride into downtown.

  • Great little condo in a quiet neighborhood in central Phoenix with very affordable rates! Very convenient freeway access and close to great dining and shopping.

The condo was clean, cozy and comfortable with a modern flair. The neighborhood is very low key and nicely kept up.

Artur was very diligent and timely in his communications and I had the pleasure of meeting him in person. Great guy!

  • Perfect condominium for our short residence needs; clean, contemporary, comfortable. Certainly a place where we'd like to stay in the future. Although we never met our "host", he responded quickly to question(s) sent via text.

  • Artur's place was amazing! So cute and more than I expected! I loved it! I will definitely be coming back to stay!

  • Artur was incredibly helpful from the beginning. He texted me when I confirmed I would be staying at his condo and let me know I could reach him anytime.

The condo is on a beautiful quiet neighborhood filled with palm trees. I felt safe in the area and it was within quick driving distance of everywhere I needed to go. Parking directly next to the condo was simple and easy.

The condo was perfectly furnished and had more than what I needed. There was an empty closet so I could unpack for the weekend and I was pleasantly surprised to find an iron and ironing board as well. The heat/AC is controlled by Nest. Which is super fun.

All around great experience. Thanks Artur!

  • Artur's apartment was wonderful, very high-tech and trendy. It opened up to a spacious backyard where we could enjoy the sunshine.

  • This was our second stay in this lovely condo. It has new furnishings since last year. It's central to every place we wanted to visit in Phoenix. Convenience, privacy, great location: it's the best. Artur has been amazingly prompt and helpful in every way.

About
When possible I travel and take my bicycle along or at least rent a bike when I get there. When I arrive in a city I'm a flaneur, rather a rational flaneur: unlike most tourists, he makes a "decision opportunistically at every step to revise his schedule (or his destination) so he can imbibe things based on new information obtained." I enjoy good food: local, home made, street food. Watching people and the city beat with activity. It's more about simplicity and quality for me versus quantity and opulence: less, when well done, well made, is better than more.
