Barcelona is a city where you mostly live outside in open air.
It is a luxury to have a terrace to enjoy.
It is a rare priviledge to have two of them, one of them completely to yourself.
Barcelona is also a city where possibilities to party, celebrate, meet people and go to trendy and typical venues where to melt-in with the multicultural crowd are a plenty.
Consider the apartment a harem of peace when you come back home to find a zen and relaxed atmosphere.
Just down the building, all sorts of shops are at hand, and you will be treated to normal prices like a local.
Also, the Metro stop Sant Antoni is les than a minute walk from your place.
Directly connecting you to Paseig de Gracia where you find Casa Batllo and Pedrera, but also the Sagrada Familia.
These three are probably the most famous of Gaudi creations.
Close to home is also Montjuic park with the Miro Foundation collection and the Middle-Age castle to visit. You can go pic-nic and swimming in the pool too.
The beaches are not far away either.
oh!, and we have a cat!
He is super sweet and will not bother you.
Well, maybe will purr a little when he sees you ;)

Stayed at Andrea's place for a week and it had been one of my favorite places. The location was within walking distance to the famous Ramblas street and the metro was literally across the street. The room had a terrace with an awesome view of the city. Used of the kitchen was a plus.
Never actually meet Andrea but the other flat mates were nice and friendly. It's kind of like a higher end dorm with temporary house guests. The bathroom was shared but there was never an issue.
I really enjoyed my stay there and totally recommend it.
We had a good time in Barcelona and in Andrea's apartment. Although we never met him, he was quick in responding to messages or questions we had. The apartment itself is super central and all you need is in the area; supermarket, bakery, metro station, market and of course many terraces and cafe's. It is though, as described before, not as ZEN as described in the title of the advertisement. But hey, what do you expect when you're in the middle of buzzing Barcelona. Kitchen and fridge is to share with a few other people as well as the bathroom. We suspect we got the wrong bathroom appointed upon arrival and if not, then it is not the bathroom which was pictured. Ours was a lot smaller with a shower, toilet and wash basin. The room is spacious with lots of storage space and from which you can see the sun setting in the evening. Hygiene wise we weren't too happy; we don't mind a bit of dust & dirt, this was just a bit too much. All in all we had a great stay for almost next to nothing and that in the very heart of Barcelona! Tip: read the references properly since they seem to be quite diverse.
Our stay in Andreas apartment was very central to the centre of Barcelona. Kitchen was well stocked with all necessary utensils. Our host was there to greet us.
First of all, Andrea is a very kind and nice person and helpful host. His apartment is very central, so you can visit the city centre on foot. There are also lots of shops, bars and restaurants within few metres, also the metro is maybe 20 metres from the door.
The room we got was clean, bright, and big enough to feel comfortable in. You have all the place you need to put your stuff in. The bed was also very comfortable - maybe a bit shorter than the usual, but it was OK with me (187 cm).
You'll share the bathroom with Andrea's flatmate, who we met rarely, since he left after two days. The bathroom itself is spacious, but could have used some more love from the flatmate. During our visit the maid cleaned it, which was nice. The shower has a good water pressure.
The apartment is really nice and the balconies offer an impressive view of Barcelona - you can even look to the sea. It's quite relaxing just sitting there and looking over this huge city. Although the private balcony is not as private as you might think (you get a private space on a big balcony which you share with the visitors from the other room, seperated by a deckchair and a coffeetable), it's perfectly suited to have breakfast on it to start the day.
We got two hand towels for our visit, a shelf in the refridgerator and much space in the kitchen's cupboard, and were allowed to use the dishes.
We really enjoyed our stay in Barcelona at Andrea's apartment! Top value for money with nice people!
