Garden view

Soak up the view during your stay.
A former barn stunningly converted to an airy, modern home within 3 acres filled with surprises: tree swing, koi pond, fruit trees, blueberry bushes, rhubarb patch and near two local beaches (Fogland and Seapowet). The surrounding geography is good for hiking in Weetamoo Woods, bird watching in the Audubon, boating on the Sakonnet River. Our volleyball net, hammock, bikes and canoe are for your enjoyment.

The space
It is an easy bike ride or quick drive to two local beaches, Fogland Beach and Seapowet Beach (the sand is a mixture of shells and sand). The water is great for families as the currents are mild and it is a sheltered swimming area. Four Corners is less than a mile down the road with boutiques, eateries, cheese shop, art galleries and local library. Multiple nature reserves and the Sakonnet vineyard are not far away. There are farm stands with locally grown fruits, vegetables, eggs and flowers.
There are 3 separate private bedrooms; 1 King bedroom, 1 Queen bedroom, and one twin bedroom (2 Singles).
There are two dining areas indoors in addition to outdoor dining.
2 bathrooms as well as a double headed outdoor shower.
There are wonderful views from our home to the Sakonnet River during the day and plenty of stars during the night.

Guest access
The entire house and the 3 acre garden, bikes and canoe.

The cottage next door is also rented for summer guests. The cottage is on 1/2 an acre, the home and grounds are on three acres, they are delineated by a split rail fence.

Other things to note
There are many hidden nooks on the 3 acres. Whether under the grape trellis (beautiful area for a picnic), the greek ruin (from a play in the 1980s at Brown University that was moved here by the college students, it really is a ruin and is not suitable for playing in), to the lovers lane bench (secret spot), or the volleyball/backgammon net overlooking the water, there is always something to do, somewhere to be.
