Sunny all day long! A great place to either chill or celebrate!
Located in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, our apartment is 55 sq meters (550 sq feet). We have Wifi Internet, Balcony, Gas Stove, Washing Machine, Dryer, Bathtub, Futon Couch/Bed, and Landline Telephone.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor with south-facing windows. The space is newly renovated with a mezzannine loft for lounging & sleeping. It has plenty of available shelf-space in main room, storage area & kitchen. It also has a desk for working or drawing.
Located at the corner of Danziger Strasse and Prenzlauer Allee, there are 2 tram stops right outside our door at the corner. Surrounded by bars & restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, late-night shops, clothing boutiques, record stores, d-i-y shops, etc. Neighbors are quiet. Neighborhood is very safe, english-friendly. It is 3 blocks from a local farmer's market on Thursdays & Saturdays. We are on a fast-moving corner with lots of people flowing through so it doesn't feel stuck in any certain 'type.' This brings a slightly more diverse & lively flavor to our corner, which is tucked inside of the larger 'bohemian bourgeois' which is peppered with families, young professionals, & artsy 30s & 40s-somethings. We are between 2 parks: Mauer Park, with its infamous Sunday Fleamarket & "Bearpit Karaoke"--and Volkspark Freidrichshain, a lovely park for jogging or walking that was built on a pile of ruins.

Prenzlauer Berg was the first neighborhood in former East Berlin in which the wall came down, so there is a memorial park & a Museum to the Berlin Wall nearby. It is also the closest residential neighborhood to Mitte, the center of the city where you find many Monuments, Museums, and Tourist sites.
If you arrive at Schönefeld airport take the train at the Schönefeld Airport train station to Alexanderplatz then change for the Tram M2 around 6 stops until the intersection Danziger Strasse - Prenzlauer Allee.
From International Tegel airport you have the choice between a cab will cost around 15 euros course or the bus TXL wich goes to the local train station (SBahn) Beusselstrasse then take the Ring train clockwise way until Prenzlauer Allee. From there you might have to walk 10mn until my place or take the Tram M2 stop at the intersection Danziger Strasse - Prenzlauer Allee.
Regarding public transportations the apartment is not far from an intersection of two tram lines (M10 and M2). The M10 line stops right front of the building and it serves the district of Mitte ( shopping and museums) in one direction and in the other direction it goes down to FRIEDRISCHAIN, KREUZBERG which are neighborhoods more lively with the numerous clubs hair : Berghain , Watergate etc. .... the list is too long. M2 line goes straight on Alexanderplatz.

We had a lovely stay in Berlin at Madeline and Roland's place. The apartment was bright and airy and provided the perfect base for exploring. Additionally the bath was great, the bed was comfy and the kitchen was well equipped! Madeline's prompt and friendly communication made our booking and stay a breeze. Highly recommended!!
Madeline and Roland's apartment was rad! We were surprised by the generous amount of space and air, given that it was a studio. The apartment was everything they had in their photos/description and more! The area in Berlin was perfect - heaps of cool cafés, bars and vintage clothing stores! Exactly what we wanted! Madeline was a pleasure to deal with - she waited up late to meet us on our first night to hand over the keys as our flight was delayed AND she was totally cool about it. The recommendations they left for us kept us well caffeinated and cultured! Recommend!! X
Lovely and clean apartment in a great neighbourhood! There were lots of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. Communication with Madeline was very easy. I will definitely recommend this! :-)
We had a lovely stay at the loft- it is in a great spot, easy to get trams or trains anywhere, and lots of cute cafés etc nearby. Madeline was there to meet me, which was nice and she was super helpful and had lots of great neighbourhood tips.
Madeline welcomed us to this magical apartment in what we would soon learn to be an extremely lovely and exciting part of Berlin. There were many great restaurants and stores lining the nearby picturesque streets, and being close to two tram lines and a short walk to an underground station meant that getting around was super easy. The apartment itself had just about everything we required and we had no problems in our entire stay. Madeline was easily accessible with any queries we had and we used the guidebook that her and Roland had provided to find some yummy restaurants and warm cafes. Highly recommended!
I can only recommend a stay in Madeleine and Rolands cozy flat! It has everything you need (including wi-fi) and is located in such a nice area of Berlin. Walking distance to Kollwitz Platz and Kastanien Allé. Madeleine was always responding very fast and all communication was easy peasy:-)
We will definitely come back!
