Neighbour is really calm and clean. Great advantange is the location from which we had direct connections by bus to city center in only 25min.
By staying in tipical English home, decorated in vintage style you really experience the English lifestyle.
Thank you Francien for making our stay really, really pleasant!

  • Francien is a splendid host. Our experience with this B&B started before we arrived with great communication from Francien and speedy responses to all of my questions. The room was clean and the sheets smelled wonderful. It was so nice to have a common living room to sit in at night and not feel the need to stay in our bedroom. Francien made a real effort to include everyone in the conversation at breakfast. She even worried if my teenager was not eating. To top it all off, our cab did not show up on time on the morning we were leaving for the airport. Francien loaded all of our bags in her car and took us to the closest tube station that permitted us to reach the rail. I recommend this B&B highly. Sandy

  • Francien is an amazing hostess and her home is clean, beautiful, and situated in a charming neighborhood. There were other guests coming in and out throughout our stay and we had a good time meeting them. The location about a mile south of Brixton station was convenient as many buses went directly to the main parts of downtown London or connected with the Underground. The room was comfortable and the shared bathroom was clean. Francien was extremely helpful in recommending restaurants and sights and a fun an interesting person to talk to. Definitely recommended!

  • Warm, welcoming and friendly - what a way to start a stay. Francien was the perfect host. We got to enjoy hospitality and the freedom of coming and going as we pleased. Very comfortable facilities. The area was quiet and peaceful yet easy to get to via the Brixton tube lin and a short bus trip up the road. Love those Oyster cards. The two speical hosts, Billy and Coco (the house cats) were always up for a scratch behind the ear. Don't know any other 5 star hotel that has that.

So sorry I didn't meet you Ale and Chris. According to Miranda you are as much as Brixtonians as us. Hope to see you both soon.

Hi I am Francien! I love the great city I have called home for the last 38 years and enjoy discovering new places in it every day. I am originally from Indonesia and the travel bug still strong in me as I love exploring new places and cultures. I have been to Indonesia, Germany, Jordan, Turkey, Spain, Italy, India, France, Sri Lanka and Portugal all in the last 5 years! And with airbnb I can keep learning of people and places even if it is from the comfort of my living room or kitchen. As they say " kitchen is the heart of a home". I am happy to share my home and have lots of handy tips for you to make the most of your time and budget. I invite you to come and stay with me in my comfortable London Victorian Terraced home that is directly opposite a big park and well connected to all parts of the city. Please feel free to ask me any questions, practical or fun, to get the most out of your visit before and during your stay.
