About This Listing
At the 5th floor of an elegant Hausmann style building on a quiet street, our 5-bedroom Apartment was recently renovated to create a huge living room which opens to a large dining room, making it a very comfortable, light and spacious place of 240m2 or 2600 sq feet.
Ideally located in the beautiful part of the 17th arrondissement and nearby the 8th, it is a walking distance from the Place de l'Etoile and the Champs-Elysées (13'), right next to the Place & Avenue des Ternes which are ideal for shopping (5') and close to the Parc Monceau which is perfect for families with kids (6'). But you won't even have to go that far for groceries as the Marché Poncelet, one of the greatest markets for fresh food in Paris, starts at the bottom of the street (150m). You'll also find numerous restaurants in the whole area as well as more shops in the lively rue de Courcelles (300m). In between two metro stations that will quickly take you anywhere in Paris, it is an ideal base to explore Paris while enjoying relaxing times with your family either at the apartment or at the nearby Parc Monceau.
Besides of the spacious living and dining rooms, you will find a family room where kids can play while parents relax in the nearby living room or that you can use as an extra comfortable master bedroom suite. Both the living room and the family room have large flatscreen HD TV's with DVD players + a complete audio system in the living room. The apartment has fast speed broadband wireless Internet. The living room enjoys a modern decoration including 2 super comfortable leather sofas that give a stunning perspective on the dining room and on a beautiful fireplace. The dining room can comfortably sit up to 14 people. The openings we created with the living room make these reception rooms always very light throughout the day as they enjoy 5th-floor light from both East and West. The fully-equiped kitchen is located next to the dining room, making it very practical. A large room as well, the kitchen also has its own dining table that easily sits 6. All the bedrooms are on the building's private courtyard side making them very silent. The main bedroom has a Queen-sized bed. 1 bedroom has 2 Twin/Single beds (one that retracts below the other), 1 bedroom has 1 Twin/Single bed, 1 bedroom has a Full Bed and the last bedroom has 1 kid-sized bed. The family room also has 1 Convertible Sofa that makes an additional Queen size bed and can thus be used as an extra master bedroom. All the rooms are connected by a corridor that has multiple spacious cabinets. The apartment has 2 nice bathrooms (one with toilet) as well as 1 shower room and 1 additional separate toilet.
The building of course has an elevator and kept its elegant plaine Monceau / Haussmann-style large wooden stairways. Each Apartment occupies one floor so you won't have any neighbors on the same floor. Our home before relocating to San Francisco with our 3 kids, this apartment is perfect for people who like space or for families and we've been very happy living in it.
Note : longer-term rental possible.
No particular rules. We'd just like this beautiful place to stay beautiful...

Our hostess, Bea, was just wonderful! Very willing to accomodate our early check in and answer questions about getting around and making arrangements for a taxi. The apartment is in a wonderful location and was very easy to get to public transportation and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and grocery stores.
The apartment is huge and worked well for our family of seven. Children loved the toys. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thanks for all your assistance.
Guillaume was extremely helpful and very quick when responding to our questions. We all had a great stay at his house and it was perfectly comfortable for 6 individual guests. Thank you Guillaume!
We loved our stay here in Paris. This apartment is huge, beautiful, very charming (it really feels like paris) and in a great area that is close to everything yet very non-touristy. The layout of the long hallways and bedrooms provides privacy for everyone - but there is a big beautiful living/dining/kitchen area for everyone to hang out - and a lovely small terrace. I was specifically looking for a grand old paris apartment and this was perfect to me - even with all the quirks of an old apartment.
We bought food at wonderful local markets and cooked on numerous occasions - so the kitchen and dining room really worked out well. We also ate at local restaurants (Tip: eat at La Compagnie Bistro), and it was a quick ride to areas such as the Latin Quarter (UBER taxi service made life easy). Beatrice is a lovely and helpful host. Guillaume was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I highly recommend this place.
We were a mixed group of two couples, a single adult, 9 year old child and 10 month old baby, staying for 5 days. The apartment was absolutely beautiful in a great area, close by to everything that you should need. With plenty of room to move in the apartment, we were all very comfortable and could have privacy from one another if need be. My 9 year old niece and baby boy loved the toys in the kids room which was a really nice touch. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather for the week so were able to open up the doors and let the sun and breeze in to the apartment whilst enjoying a drink after a long day of sightseeing! Perfect.
Beatrice was a lovely and helpful host, we were made to feel very welcome. Would love to come again and see more of this beautiful city. Thank you..
We were two families, 4 adults and 4 teenage children who had a fabulous time in Paris, all the more memorable because we stayed in this well-equipped, well maintained, spacious, comfortable apartment in a very safe and friendly neighborhood in a very central location. We were met at the apartment by Beatrice who was so helpful with her suggestions. She even printed out our boarding passes and arranged taxis for our trip back to the US. It was the perfect place to come back after a day out visiting the sights of Paris and relax and recoup our energy for the next day. The spacious dining room and table had plenty of room for all 8 of us to sit down at the same time for meals. We had enough bedrooms for everyones comfort and privacy. The market on Rue Poncelot is minutes away and great for all sorts of fresh food, cheese etc. There are great restaurants within walking distance. There is excellent wireless access in the main living room. Other positives: quiet neighborhood, there is a working elevator, plenty of hot water. The communication with both Guillaume and Beatrice was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay highly recommend it.
