Josie & Koosie were *amazing* for me! I made a *very* last minute change of plans while in the Philippines to go to Palawan. I couldn't have made the most of my short stay there without them. This was more than just accommodation - they helped with ideas, getting around as well as being gracious hosts! *Highly recommended*.
Very welcoming and friendly and they went out of there way to accommodate us. The place is only a short trip from town in a friendly neighborhood. Also loved the underground fish spa pools just a short walk away.
Josie and Koos' place was one of our best stays in Puerto Princesa. The beautiful hut we stayed in was clean and had everything that we needed. They also helped us arrange our tours for the couple of days we were there and made sure we were having only the best, incredible island experience. Bonus was Maria (their help) makes the best breakfast! Cheers!
Excellent stay! Warm hospitality, they helped us to organise a lot of stuff and made us have a fantastic stay! Thank you!
Koos and Maria were more than accommodating. Helping us with any request we had and organising anything we wanted to do including a trike from the airport when we arrived, having cold beers, finding a motorbike to hire, and our transfers to El Nido. Maria even had cold beers ready for when we arrived. A little far from town but would definitely stay again and recommend to all.
Koos & Josie have an amazing piece of solar powered paradise to share and are extremely helpful hosts. If you're looking for a quiet location out of town to plan your adventures in a super cool Filipino kubo this is the one!
Josie and Koos have been very gracious hosts! Even before we arrived in Palawan, they helped us fix our itinerary and even book trips to Palawan destinations for us so that we won't be hassled anymore. The people whom they involved in hosting us did not disappoint as well. Maria, their guest officer was always ready to address our concerns with a bright smile. Rodel, the driver who picked us up from the airport and took us on a city tour was very gracious and helpful in providing trivia about Palawan.
We know that we were right in choosing Koosie's Pool as our host because we felt very much at home even though we were miles away from home. The kubo was a very unique concept that added to the native feel of our vacation. We will definitely recommend the place to our single and couple traveller friends!
Thanks, Josie and Koos! :)
