Spacious, bright and private 60m² 1 bedroom apartment between Montmartre & Opera, perfect for your socially distanced visit :)

Fully equipped kitchen, 1 & 1/2 bathrooms, Sleeps up to 4 in 1 bedroom which can be made up as a super kingsize bed or twins and 2 people on the large sofabed.

There's plenty of sitting space in the huge living room. Suitable for wheelchair users as it has grab bars in the bathroom & a modern elevator. Very fast wifi :)

Children are welcome.

The space
Brilliantly central, surrounded by metros and buses, this south-facing, 3rd (top) floor, 60m² self - catering apartment is in the same building as my Bed & Breakfast apartment. Between the 2 properties a party of 6 can be catered for. Look up '52 Clichy' if this interests you.

The spacious, airy apartment with high ceilings and masses of floor to ceiling storage space provides a relaxed home away from home environment. This apartment is twice the size of an average 1 bedroom Parisian apartment.

Overlooking private gardens, the living space is full of modern, comfortable furniture and provides a haven from the bustle of the Parisian streets.

There is an elevator to the front door of the apartment. NO steps. All doors are at least 78cms / 30 inches wide and therefore the apartment is wheelchair accessible / friendly. We have had many completely wheelchair - bound guest visitors.

I have had write-ups in "Frommer's Guide to Paris Day by Day" and the UK's" Sunday Times Travel magazine". Currently listed in the Top 5 of all TripAdvisor vacation rental property listings in Paris.

There is Free, very fast fibre optic internet access and Wifi. There are also free telephone calls to landlines in 108 countries around the World and to Free phone calls to cell phones in the USA and Canada.

The bedroom can be organised as twin beds or a 2m wide & 2m long double bed. If your group is more than 2 people the large sofabed can sleep a further 2 people.
If you pop the children to bed in the bedroom, they still have access to the bathroom but you can close the door between the bathroom and the living space and you still have a full apartment for yourselves.

I have a Greco cot for a child up to 18 months old (please bring your own bedding for it) but please note that any children, even babies, will count to my 4 PERSON maximum.

The bathroom has a full bath and shower in it and is between the bedroom and living space but there is also an additional toilet next to the front door.

Fully equipped large kitchen with fridge / freezer and washing machine, coffee maker and coffee / tea making supplies.

There is no TV (I have taken the view that most people come with a computer or ipad so they can use my very powerful wifi) however there are hundreds of books and some games if you aren't exhausted after all that walking....

Where you’ll be

Paris, Île-de-France, France

This is a real local area, within a 3 minute area there are lots of little shops, supermarkets, an award-winning amazing bakery only 20 metres away, an organic market on Saturday mornings and at the top of the road a 24/7 pharmacie, lots of amazing restaurants and bars, and, if you must, a Starbucks opposite the Place de Clichy metro entrance!

In less than 5 minutes walking you can alo be at the Moulin Rouge and Montmartre, take the gentle route via Rue Lepic up to the fabulous Sacré Coeur that dominates the Parisian skyline and have a portrait sketched in the famous Artist's Square. Drop into any of the numerous galleries, including the wonderful Espace Dali and gaze at the Wall of Love before eating at any of the numerous wonderful restaurants and cafés in the area (I have a list of favourites that I can provide for you).

If you pop down the road in a straight line for just a little more than 5 minutes you will be in Shopper's Paradise at Galéries Lafayette & Printemps, the upmarket shopping area, or taking a tour of the Opera Garnier with it's breathtaking Chagal ceiling

Minutes walking westwards is La Musée de la Vie Romantique where you can have tea in their secluded garden café afterwards.

East, just past the St Lazare train station, is the splendid Musée Jacquemart André, a collectioner's beautiful home.

You can walk to the Seine or be inside the Louvre in less that 20 minutes. You can also be at Sacré Coeur in less than that so we really are in the middle of everything.

I have been sharing my apartment as a B&B since 2013 via Trip Advisor where I’m listed in the Top 5 places to stay in Paris and I’ve a 9.8/10 ranking on (Website hidden by Airbnb) . I cannot believe how much I have enjoyed the experience, especially leisurely chatting over breakfast or late in the evenings with a glass of wine. I’ve created a relaxed, comfortable space which my guests want to share by offering a really comfortable bed, copious but healthy breakfasts and, of course, no-one can believe before visiting just how quiet it is here, in the heart of Paris but overlooked by no-one.

The apartment is self-contained but on the floor below the B&B. It’s gorgeous and we can still share tea or wine ;)

During your stay

I am always available as I live in the same building running the B&B for 2 people (listed on Airbnb too and on Trip Advisor). Normally I invite guests to have tea or wine depending on their arrival time so that I can answer any questions etc and I try and see them at least once more before they leave.

I also can offer the same breakfast / room service I provide for my B&B guests for an additional €10 per adult / €30 per family each or any morning.
