  • We had a delightful stay here - lovely contemporary home & room. Teo & Isabel took very good care of us.

This is a great neighborhood too - easy access to Frida Kahlo Museum, Trotsky's home & museum, the Coyoacan center square is an easy walk for restaurants & market.

I would stay here again & I would recommend Trisha's to a friend.

  • This is the third time I stayed with Trisha, unfortunately she was not there when I was, but everything was GREAT again. Contact with her staff made everything smooth, the house is just great and beautiful, well located. Really always feel at home.

  • We probably missed a bit of what people find fantastic about staying at Trisha's but it still wound up being quite wonderful. We had decided to return to DF a day early to avoid driving from Oaxaca and catching a plane back to NYC on the same day. Trisha kindly agreed to accommodate us for one night with just a small additional charge, even though she was leaving town before we arrived. What was missing was any soap at all in the bathroom and a bit of milk for our tea in the morning. No doubt these oversights or the possibility of correcting them, would not have happened if Trisha had been around or might even have been corrected if we were staying longer, since Isabel, Trisha's assistant (not onsite) and Juan (her onsite caretaker, I think) probably would have sorted it out for us. In any case, the magic of Coyoacan, the opportunity to easily visit the Trotsky and Kahlo houses as well as the general if somewhat generic comfort of the small apartment we stayed in more than made up for anything missing. Ideally one should stay longer in DF though choosing Trisha's and Coyoacan provided a wonderfully rich if abbreviated experience.

  • We had a really nice stay at Trisha's place. The room is absolutely great, and her house is amazing and very comfortable. The location is perfect. Loved Coyoacan. We'd definitely stay again.

  • My husband and I had a delightful 5 night stay at Trish's studio. She was gracious and accommodating. The studio is well situated in the wonderful community of Coyoacán and it is outfitted well. It, and the outside spaces, are bright and cheery. We enjoyed our stay very much.

  • Although, we only had one night in Mexico City, my friends and I had a wonderful stay at Trisha's lovely home! You can't ask for a better location in the Coyoacan area of Mexico City! It is within walking distance to the Casa Azul (Right around the corner), the Coyoacan Plaza, and the Market.

Trisha left beers for us in the fridge when we arrived, and offered us coffee and croissants in the morning! She recommended a great restaurant for dinner, and called a taxi for us to get to the airport.

Trisha's place is top notch and I recommend it highly!

  • What a delight! This was a beautiful spot in a charming location. You can easily walk to all of the best parts of the neighborhood. I enjoyed every bit, especially the bath-tub and the roof-top patio.

  • Unfortunately we didn’t meet Trisha, as she wasn’t in Mexico when we arrived, but she made arrangements for us to be met by a staff member, Isabel, who was charming & helpful. Trisha kindly agreed to us dropping our luggage at the apartment before check-in time, which was really helpful to us.
The apartment is decorated in a simple stylish manner - the use of colour is just beautiful - exactly as shown in the photos. The only thing we didn’t realize from the photos was that the apartment is on the second floor, accessed by an external spiral staircase (not a problem for us, but may be something to consider if you have big luggage or mobility problems). We found the apartment was clean & quiet; the bed was very comfortable & the water pressure in the shower was great. Loved the way the bathroom was decorated! We didn’t really cook, but it was very handy to have the kitchen facilities available to prepare food. The terraces outside were an added bonus - hummingbirds visited the potted citrus trees that were in flower.
Coyoacán is a lovely historical peaceful area of Mexico City & the locals were amazingly friendly & helpful to us as we bumbled around not speaking any Spanish! The apartment is around the corner from Frida Khalo’s Casa Azul & is only a couple of blocks from the market & main squares at the centre of Coyoacán & the Museo Nacional de las Culturas Populares. We found there were plenty of taxis to take us to the centre of Mexico City & the airport.
We loved staying here & would recommend the apartment for its comfort, peacefulness & convenience, & will definitely check out its availability when we return to Mexico City.
