New, clean, modern studio flat. Converted 25x20 garage with kitchenette and bathroom. Cool neighborhood walkable to coffee, beer, New Seasons, Kennedy School, Concordia University. 3 large skylights bathes the cabin in light all day.

The Space

Our modern cabin has one room, and is a stand alone studio in the trendy part of NE Portland.

You will have your own private kitchen and bathroom with a full tub and shower. (Please note, at this time, it is "shower-only" as the on-deman hot water heater cannot fill the tub. We're working with a plumber but don't have a solution yet. Shower works fine.) There is also one comfortable, new queen size bed and one full fold out couch.

This apartment is bright and clean with three skylights, stained cement floor, french doors, and a stereo.

We also offer free WiFi and we recently added a wifi extender to be sure the connection is strong.

There is alley access with a private entrance.

The french doors open out to a courtyard studio with seating for ten.

The home is very private and quiet yet extremely close to all that Portland has to offer. It is a garage-conversion to a stand alone cabin.

Not seen in the photos is a 36 inch flat screen TV with DirectTV and Netflix.

This home is near Alberta Arts (7 blocks), Kennedy School (4 blocks), and Concordia University!
In addition, it's a great area to bike around.

In terms of public transportation, we're very close to two different bus lines (27 and 33). There's a sandy beach at the Columbia river which is about 1.25 miles away.

There are 3 yards you may use. The first is the courtyard that the studio opens out to, with tables and chairs. The second is the backyard, with a big tree swing for kids or adults. The 3rd yard is around the corner of the main house - it has a swing set for children.

We have kids and are definitely kid friendly.

Thanks for browsing we hope to see you soon.

  • This was our first airbnb experience. Matt/Meredith were very quick to respond and answer my questions. Great location- close to Alberta and airport. Cute neighborhood. Loved the back yard and the nice bathroom. We were in Portland on very hot days and the cabin stayed cool.

  • Matt and Merediths little place was perfect for our Portland vacation. Its in a great neighborhood, close to Alberta St, easy access to the airport, and both beds were very comfortable. The patio was an extra bonus! Would definitely use it again :)

  • Cute little place with everything necessary to enjoy our stay in beautiful Portland. The courtyard was a lovely place to have breakfast in the morning or enjoy some sun in the afternoon. Thanks!

  • We received a warm welcome from our hosts; loved the quiet neighborhood near bike routes & within walking distance of the fun Alberta Street shops & restaurants; enjoyed the private patio space, comfortable bed, comfortable living/dining space; & found our "Cabin" provided 99% of what we needed. A few minor housekeeping items needed attention. We look forward to staying here again!

  • We were very pleased with our stay at the Concordia Cabin. It is light and airy, quiet and private. We will definitely return. I appreciated all the detailed information that we received before we arrived and the warm welcome and good bye.

    We will definitely return.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in this cute bungalow. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful when we needed. We had a full privacy during our stay. The bungalow is on a quiet neighborhood but still close to all services such as grocery stores, and Alberta area, where there is plenty of restaurants, shops and cafeterias. Matt and Meredith replied our request very fast and were able to make the bungalow ready for us with a short notice. In general we can highly recommend this for anyone staying in North East area of Portland.

  • What a beautiful place to stay! Very comfortable Murphy bed, great bathroom. Quiet, peaceful, well-appointed. I was sad to go and would definitely stay there again! Bonus points for the patio table access and a gorgeous yard to enjoy it in.

  • I had a wonderful stay at Matt and Meredith's Concordia Cabin. While I did not personally meet Matt or Meredith, they were extremely accommodating, checking in with me via text/email to see if I had everything I needed. The cabin is wonderfully situated and super clean and comfortable. A terrific option for a Portland stay. I already recommended it to my sister and will definitely will consider it for future visits to Portland. A really great first airbnb experience!

  • We had a great time at the Cabin. Well equipped and a nice location. Meredith has been very helpful in giving us some directions on what to see in Portland. The neighborhood has some great restaurants on walking distance. We ourselves liked the French restaurant Cocotte. Also there is a great organic supermarket in the vicinity. A good place to explore Portland and beyond.
