Thatch on Newbury is located on Newbury Street, between Hereford and Gloucester, a short stroll to many of Boston's best restaurants, stores and places of interest. The building and unit provides the perfect location for either a weekend away or mid-week business travel. In-unit laundry, central heat/AC, queen sleeper sofa and a full kitchen, make this the perfect place for a few nights or a few weeks!
The space
This Thatch™ Apartel (apartment-hotel) is the perfect place for up to 4 people looking for more space and more functionality than a traditional hotel. It has an open plan kitchen and living room with breakfast bar and great natural light.
The full kitchen allows you to prepare anything from coffee to quick breakfast before heading out to a full meal in the comfort of your own home away from home. The living room has a queen sleeper, allowing separation of sleeping space from the queen bed in the bedroom. In 2022 Thatch on Newbury got some big upgrades -- we added central AC, all new furniture, and the interior design was completely redone with new paint, wall coverings, art, accent lighting and more. The floor plan and furnishings of the unit have been meticulously thought through to ensure the best possible stays for leisure and business travelers alike.
PARKING IS AVAILABLE & LIMITED. You must reserve a parking spot ahead of time. Please call or email us directly if you wish to reserve a parking spot.

One parking space is available for rent behind the building, which needs to be reserved ahead of time, and done so through our booking team. Parking is a separate reservation that needs to be confirmed. Visitor street parking is available on Newbury Street, but extremely limited. Most places of interest can be accessed easily by foot, train or Uber and cars are not recommended for this location if possible.

Please note, this property does not have an elevator. To access your unit, you must use the stairs starting from the ground floor. After the first flight of stairs, you will locate units 1 & 2. Th second flight of stairs contains units 3 &4. Lastly, the third flight of stairs will have units 5 & 6.
Check-in window is between 3PM and 10PM.
