When I'm in town, I will gladly tell you about what is going on in the community. I will also gladly give a little tour of the area, if desired.
The Vesterbro district is the place, where there is space for galleries, cafes, some of the city's best restaurants, clubs, bars, small designer boutiques - and children!
After the urban renewal 15 years ago Vesterbro has transformed from being a workers' town, to being the young hipsters' home, and now also families with children. Around the corner you will find the Meatpacking District, delicious restaurants, shopping, cafes and nightlife. And the Town Hall Square is 7 minutes away on foot. If you rent a bike, you can get around the city in an hour.
The Central Station is 10 minutes away on foot, Dybbølsbro Station is two minutes away - and there are bike rentals at Dybbølsbro Station.

Grilles there in the yard, the area should be left in the condition it was in before the barbecue dinner.
Louise is a very welcoming host, she waited in the flat until 10pm on a Friday night to greet us and left wine, fruit and beer for us and gave us some amazing tips. Her flat was beautiful and in an amazing location near Kodbyen (the meatpacking district), which is really cool and full of bars and restaurants. You can also walk or bike to the centre and other parts of the city really easily and it's only 10 min from Central Station so in a perfect place for a weekend trip of exploring.
The apartment is super nice! The location is great and super close to the central train station. It's also in a great area with great restaurant, coffee shops and boutiques. Louise was available when we had a few questions! Highly recommended for a nice stay in Copenhagen
We spent 3 nights at Louise's place and it was great.
She is very kind and makes sure that everything is ok for you. Her place is very well located, very convenient and very pretty.
She is also flexible and this can be very helpful.
Long story short : great place to stay in Copenhagen !
Thanks again Louise !
Louise was a great host! she sent us all the details in advance so there was absolutely no trouble in finding the exact street name. she had sent us as well tipps for copenhagen and made us feel very comfortable at her place. speaking of which, her place is absolutely amazing. it is such a charming and perfect place to stay at while in copenhagen. If i visit this amazing city again - i will for sure stay at Louise's appartment.
Louise was great, she wrote us a list with recomendations, left us some snacks and milk at the apartment and did everything for us to feel at home! The flat is in a very nice neighberhood and totaly central, so we could reach everything by walking or cycling.
Apartment was fantastic and beautifully decorated in a brilliant location. From flight to door it took 30-40 minutes. Extremely centrally located and hands down in the 'hippest' section of Copenhagen, with endless artistic bars and interesting restaurants within minutes walk.
Louise gave us an extremely warm welcome to the apartment, even allowing us to put our luggage in the apartment earlier. An informal greeting was had later with wine, fruit and chocolate. Apart from just providing the apartment Louise also helped me to book restaurants for New Years Eve, which can be quite confusing. Thank you for the experience and for being a fantastic host.
A must recommendation for anyone heading to Copenhagen!
Everything about our whole experience was wonderful. Louise was a great and helpful host, and the Apartment was super. Really well designed and comfortable place to stay, and the Neighbourhood was great too. Only ten minutes walk to the Central Station, and a further 5 minutes into town.
The Meatpacking District with its bars and restaurants are literally over the road. Would love to stay here again on our next trip to Copenhagen.
About the Host, Louise
I am 34 years old and I am self-employed and work as a journalist and musician. I use the city and it's many offers every day and blog about the city on (website hidden) (in Danish). In my spare time, when I'm not writing or singing, I travel a lot - primarily to big cities around the world - alone or with friends.
I am addicted to playing my guitar, listening to music, daydreaming, reading books, looking at beautiful pictures, talking to people and laughing. Luckily all these things are part of my lovely every day life.
When I rent my apartment, I am probably not in the city, but if I am, I will be happy to show you the best spots in this area of Copenhagen where I live :)
