I am so in love with my apartment and how I decorated it so I thought, why not share it with people who appreciate the urban life, want to visit Philly (my hometown) and enjoy a nice ambiance and home in a great location. My apartment is very homey and welcoming...I hope you think so too :)

Interaction with Guests
Not much. I can exchange keys in advance if needed or meet guests and show them around on request. I usually leave the keys in a lockbox with a code I provide and guests can arrive/depart as they like. This is how I like to travel :)
the OLD brownstones, most from the early 1900s
the cute BYOB restaurants, cafes and boutiques
rittenhouse square a mere block away - my green oasis and great people watching
the running trail and dog park a few blocks west of my apartment
the community is great. people look out for each other, safe, nice neighbors, nice mix of families and youngsters, quaint and quiet
you can walk everywhere in Philly with a nice set of legs and good shoes. but, if you need to reach the stadiums or neighborhoods more than 1 mile away, the subway is close by, you can walk to 30th street train station from my apartment and bus routes are abundant
Other Things to Note
I've lived in many neighborhoods in Philly and Rittenhouse is my favorite.
NO laundry on premises, laundromat 2 blocks away
NO parties, don't mind if you have friends over
NO pets (love dogs, but sorry, I don't know yours well enough)
This place was perfect for our needs (conference). Rachele was available for prompt (5min) help when we had a problem with the lock and she also helped out when we accidentally blew the breaker (don't use two blow driers at once). Her place is gorgeous and we appreciated the small touches like a stocked fridge and cookies! Highly recommend Rachele's home for your stay in Phillu!
Rachele's house is beautiful, clean, organized and in a perfect location! She was a very nice host taking care of all the details to have us!
This apartment was even better than I expected. Rachele was a wonderful hostess - and her apartment was beautiful! She gave us thoughtful tips of things to do and a care package for the race. Since we were in town for a race we didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment, but wished we could've spent more. It's in a great location, it's huge for a one bedroom - at least by my Boston standards - and it had everything we needed. We loved it!
Rachele's place is "stunning" as described. It's a beautiful and very spacious one bedroom, lots of character, very high ceilings, and really comfortable home away from home. I would definitely stay here again.
Rachele made it easy, incredibly helpful and welcoming, providing homemade banana bread and fresh lemonade on our arrival. She also provided all kinds of tips about where to eat and play in Philly.
The location couldn't be more perfect a few blocks from Rittenhouse.
Great place, we loved our weekend there!
The place was just as described-- so very charming, comfortable- even lots of inspiration for my own decorating!! Location is fabulous, we walked everywhere. We would definitely come back!
Great host and great place. Very cozy arranged. Great neigborhood with walking distance to every major point of interest.
Thanks to Rachele for a great stay!
Effusive praise for Rachele and her adorable apartment! This was my first time in Philadelphia and she made me feel incredibly welcome. She had nice welcoming notes scattered throughout her house and staying there felt incredibly homey. Her list of places to eat and visit was awesome and many of them are now "go-to" places for when I'm back in Philadelphia. Rachele went above and beyond the duties of a typical airbnb host. For example, I was put in charge of organizing a get together for a conference in Philadelphia and Rachele sent me a list of possible venues. I really don't know what I would have done without her help.
As for her apartment, it's clean, decorated really cute, and in a great location. The neighborhood is close to shops and restaurants and it was just fun to stroll around. Overall, I had a delightful time in Rachele's place and the next time I come to Philadelphia I will definitely ask to stay again.
