Welcome to my serene oasis in the lovely Jordaan area. I have completely renovated it and turned it into an airy split-level apartment. Whether your’re on business or travelling, you can enjoy your own peaceful haven in the middle of bustling Amsterdam.
The split-level apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a 3 floor apartment block and has 1 bedroom available for 2 guests.
The bedroom has a double bed with fine linen and comfortable pillows, towels are also provided. There are 2 toilets and a luxurious walk-in rain shower.
Kitchen is new and fully equipped to assure a comfortable stay. I enjoy cooking myself so feel free to use any utensils, cereal, herbs or ingredients that you need to prepare that lavish haute cuisine meal, or to unwrap a Big Mac burger.
You’ll have a good supply of nice coffee too.
There is floor heating throughout so a comfortable temperature is maintained.
High speed internet that will satisfy your broadband needs is available and access code will be (website hidden) has all international channels and movie channels.
The apartment is nicely located in the Jordaan. From here you can explore the canals, visit the many museums or the Anne-Frank house, go shopping in de negen straatjes(the nine streets). Bike rental is just across the street and canal boat tours are a couple of minutes away. Stroll back home, relax, have a nice coffee(espresso machine in the kitchen) and continue your Amsterdam adventure.
Don’t feel like doing anything? Then just have a lazy day at home, watch a movie, have a nice glass of wine on the balcony and look at the bikes that pass by.
Got some chef’s inspiration? Stroll over to the (biological or regular) market, get those ingredients and let yourself go in the fully equipped kitchen. In case your experiment didn’t work out very well, just go and see one of the many restaurants nearby.
By plane: Bus 197 conveniently takes you from the airport to its end-station across the street in 35 minutes. No need to change, just sit back, relax and let the bus take you there .
By car: the best is to park your car in one of the park ’n ride parking parkings(€8,- per 24 hours including public transport tickets) and take the bus to the apartment.
By train: from central station you can take a tram or a bus to the apartment. In case your luggage is not too heavy it’s about a nice 25 minute walk via the canal area.
Let me know how you plan to arrive and I’ll guide you through it. Within reason the check-in/check-out times can be flexible.

We love Diego's place... This was our 3rd time here. Amazing view of the canal while you cook and he couldn't be a better host. Highly recommended and Diego I promise we'll grab that beer one day!!!
What a fantastic experience! Diego was the consummate host. He was responsive and thorough during the booking process. We couldn't have asked for a breezier process. The apartment itself is lovely--pristinely clean, well-organized and appointed. We loved waking in the morning, fixing breakfast and watching the commuters bike to work on the path along the canal right outside the window. The location cannot be beat--you are just close enough to the touristy area of the Center, but tucked away in the Jordaan which feels more authentic. With de Pijp and the Museum area within an 8 minute bike ride, it can't get more perfect. When we come back, we'll want to stay again at Diego's place, assuming this gem isn't already booked!
We had a great time in amsterdam. Diego was a great host and made us feel just like at home. The location is great. Just amazing place.
I celebrate my 15th marriege aniversary in Amsterdam. Stay in Diego's was a incredible experience. The house is very nice, near to everything and at the same time far from the noise.
It is a perfect flat. We highly recommend you to stay this apartment. It's location also very good. The canal view is perfect! You can rent a bike across from the street and have lovely time in the city. Diego is very kind person.
Thank you Diego :)
Diego home was very lovely and in the very best part of the city! Close to shopping, restaurants and transportation; but also quiet at nite for sleeping! Great home for cooking meals, as Diego is a good chef as well & has good cooking accessories - gas stove, spices, cookware, etc. Great house to lounge in, as it rained one day and we stayed in and watched movies all day. Has a good assortment of movies to watch too! Great time in Amsterdam.
Diego's apartment is lovely -a great location and everything you could need is provided -all very stylish and clean. His attention to detail is great.Diego's communication is punctual, friendly and efficient. He left out some good quality breakfast food.and rang us to make sure that we had everything we needed. I went there with my 18 year old son and we had a lovely weekend using the apartment as our base.
Diego's place is amazing.. this was our first time using AirBnB and things couldn't have been easier. Directions given by Diego were very clear and even had pictures. An excellent host. My girlfriend and I are looking forward to our next visit (likely pretty soon!)
We spent a very good time in Diego's appartment.
It was exactly such as the description and the photos on Airbnb, more over with a little balconney over the canal. It was a very nice surprise!!
Before our travel, Diego gave us all informations to reach the appartment from the airport. It's very easy and quick.
The appartment has a good situation in Jordaan, it's quite calm, and you can find all shops at 5 min by foot.
We had a good communication with Diego during all our stay in Amsterdam and it was nice to have a coffe with him.
Diego has a unique place in the heart of Amsterdam. Design in all details: from de Bathroom to kitchen garbage. All the rooms are cozy and charming. A perfect choice if you're travelling with your love one. Outside area is also very well served. Bike rentals across the street, good restaurants nearby (Moeders, Burgermeester, Nooch...), a few blocks from Anne Franks house. I strongly recommend!
