We loved our stay!! A beautiful home nestled in a Ohia forest. Very spacious and comfortable, especially loved the hot tub! Great location for an easy drive to the Volcano. We would recommend this spot to our friends and stay again!

This house is so well thought out. The bedroom was bigger than I expected, the bed very comfortable. I especially liked the overhang for the carport so when it was raining, one can access the house without getting wet. The wood stove was very comfy and super easy to use as all the supplies were set out. Very nice place to say near the Volcano.

It's wonderful house: beautiful, comfortable and spaceious. We had a great time in Hale Apapane volcano house. Thanks

This home was a lovely place to stay when visiting Volcanoes National Park. We particularly enjoyed using the grill to cook dinner and spending time on the deck, which overlooks a lush yard with huge, beautiful ferns.

Can't go wrong with this place! Close access to Volcano National Park, Hilo town only 40 minutes drive away. If you're looking for nature this is it......waking up tp birds conversing with each other, the soft gentle rain falling on the roof, or a rooster crowing in the distance..... Heaven!

We love Mark's house! This was our family's second stay here (2 adults and 2 kids - ages 6 and 8) and coming back did not disappoint. The house is very comfortable, beautiful and set in a wonderfully relaxing rain forest. We love the proximity to Volcano National Park, especially to drive into the park at night to see Kilauea's lava and glow. It is also very easy to get to Hilo and other beaches on that side of the island. The house is spacious and a perfect base camp for exploring the Volcano/Hilo side of Hawaii. We look forward to staying again in the future and recommending it to friends and family travelling to Hawaii!

Everything was perfect, the place is amazing, just like in the photos or even better! You can really feel the volcano experience since the place is just 4 minutes from the volcano national park.
