Where you’ll be

Saen Monourom Town, Mondulkiri Province, Cambodia

The hut is set at the end of Bu Lung, a village about 10 km away from the provincial center of Sen Monorom. It is lying in a lush banana grove, down the hill, behind a little coffee shop, just next to the road, with a beautiful balcony view. A little shop is situated a few meters down the road and Bu Lung has a couple of restaurants, further down in the village center.
While very easily accessible from Sen Monorom and on the road to one of Cambodia's most impressive waterfalls, the hut's situation down the hill slope, makes it a quiet and peaceful place.
Heng's own house is situated right next to the coffee shop, up next to the road, so if there are any questions or needs, she is not far away and always happy to give advice on where to go and what to do.

I am a Bunong woman from Bu Lung village and I enjoy sharing what I love about our way of life here in Mondulkiri. I am growing fruit trees and vegetables around the house, having rice fields a bit further away, and I am sometimes working as a tourist guide. I like meeting new people, hearing about other cultures and sharing thoughts and ideas. My mother tongue is Bunong, but I also speak Khmer, our national language, and English.
