Carmine was a great host - easy to communicate with and very helpful! The apartment is very clean, spacious and well-equipped (we were very thankful for the washing machine!) I thought that there were only 2 bedrooms, but there are actually 4 bedrooms. Fortunately, there was no issue sharing the 1 bathroom.
The location is central, making it very easy to get everywhere. We really enjoyed being able to shop for fresh goods at the Mercato Centrale across the street.
If you're a light sleeper, bring some heavy-duty earplugs. The noise from the streets goes until 2:30am every night (a combination of night-time cleaning, overnight garbage pick-up, nearby construction, and restaurant activity), and starts again around 5:45am with market set-up. I'm surprised that few reviewers mentioned the noise. Unfortunately, we stayed for 5 nights and never got a solid sleep. This is the only reason why I can't give a 5-star rating.
Thank you for choosing my apartment Selene. About the Mercato Centrale is a characteristic and typical location in Florence (it was built in 1800), I think it is important for tourists to live in close contact with the traditions and customs of the place in order to absorb as much as possible in the days of exploring Florence. It 'good to be well predisposed to the city that you go to visit. Thank you very much. All the best. Carmine
All was perferct organized and the place is very central in the city at the Market. In case you are a bit senstive to noise (as the market is a lively place) earplugs might come handy.
Carmine was very nice an helpful. I can only recommend a stay!
Let me introduce this B&B by Korean since Korean will watch. 시설 깔끔하고 위치도 좋고 가격도 합리적이고 이만한 곳 별로 없습니다. 한식이 그리워서 꼭 한인민박을 가야겠다는 분만 아니라면 추천합니다. ^^
The stay in Florence was really good. Carmine's apartment was very central and everything was easy to reach. I just saw him once but he would respond straight away if i had any questions or needed help! I can really recommend Carmines apartment for a visit in Florence!
We were arranged 2 rooms in Carmine's apartment for 6 people, share with other 3 girls and 2 different couples. So total at the day we stayed there, there were around 13 people (im not sure but around that). Only one bathroom for all and we had to take a long time to wait. At night, the couple next to my room had fighting, that girl was crying and the guy was shouting alot. We coulnd sleep well. However, we understood that it was Easter holiday, so many people travelled to Florence. In the normal days, it wouldnt happen like that. Besides, Carmine was very nice to us, he gave us a map of Florence and provided some tips for travelling in Florence. Thanks Carmine!
