I got in touch with Rich before I arrived so he could meet me & show me around. The neighbourhood is safe & there are 2 restaurants down the road along with some grocery stores.
The number 8 bus takes you to Shoreditch (highly recommended place to visit). There is a lot of food on Sunday as the market takes place then. The bus also stops as Bethnal Green tube station if you wanna get onto the tube & into the city. If you have the time, you could take the bus into the city as well, be sure to look it up on Google maps.
Even though Rich does not have a dryer, do not fear. I hung my clothes in the cupboard provided & left the door open and it was dry by the time I got back at night. Just a note, Rich does not provide soap for laundry.
We managed to chat for bit every now & then and as a good host, Rich also recommended a few places to check out. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone, as long as you're alright with not having an elevator in the building.
Thanks for hosting me! :)
I had a great stay at Rich's place. It was very clean and the location was excellent. Rich made me feel welcome and I enjoyed the tea/coffee making facilities an chocolates left in the room.
It was the first time I used airbnb and I think it could have been an experience better. Rich is a very pleasant and attentive, making the stay in the room like your own home. Cleaning and care are impeccable and also welcomes you with a tea in the room! I think that the stay with Rich is perfect.
I had a lovely stay in Rich’s apartment this week. The room is very cozy, and clean. The apartment was in a great area - relatively quiet. I very much enjoyed eating breakfast on the Pavillion at Victoria Park, exploring the restaurants nearby, and the quick access to many areas of the city either by tube, bus, or on foot. Rich was also a great host, always attentive, very communicative, and gave me some great suggestions on things to do! Overall I would highly recommend this place!
Casa molto pulita , carina e accogliente e ben posizionata. Anche RIch è molto disponibile e gentile . È sicuramente un posto dove trascorrere un piacevolissimo soggiorno.
