A charming seaside house! Our family of four had a lovely time at this neat, handsomely furnished home. The pictures don't do justice to the spaciousness of the living room which connects to the kitchen, perfect for families that like to sit and chat together while cooking. Tracey's attentiveness made the booking process fast and easy. She keeps a very tidy property and the amenities are just as described. The Rockaway Beach location is also perfect for anyone who wants easy access to both local antique shops and beautiful Oswald West State Park.
My first AirBNB experience and I am very pleased. We had a great time. The communication, directions and follow up were excellent. I knew what to bring and what to expect. Tracy even took time to drop in and make sure thing were working out as planned. The house was "as advertised". It was clean and comfortable and due to when we booked there was some flexibility on check in. This goes on my "A" list.
Had a great weekend stay at Pat's Beach House! House was clean and fully equipped. The master bed was very comfortable. Beach access very close and decent views from the main room windows. There is a bar/diner literally across Hwy 101 that was great for convenience sake. If you have allergies to pets I would be cautious and bring allergy medicine, otherwise great all around location!
This place is so great! Beautiful views of the Pacific right out the front door, and literally walking distance from the beach. Very comfortable beds and very clean house.
Big place with a gorgeous view! Beds a bit soft but plenty comfortable. Two bathrooms and plenty of hot water! And the laundry is great. Loved sitting on the sofas looking at the waves. Big, open kitchen. The only drawback was a strong pet odor when we arrived, but our noses quickly compensated and I never noticed it again. There seem to be a lot of rules, but we got by just fine.
We really enjoyed this house. When looking at homes to rent in this price range, I expected small, old, dated. We were so surprised to walk into a nice comfortable space. The beds were great. For the first time in 40 years my mom had nothing to complain about!! The views are great, beach out front and Lake Lytle out back. I really liked bringing my dogs and having the house ready for them, with dog door to fenced backyard and even sheets to put on furniture in case Fido get on furniture. And the owner was so accomodating. This will be our new "go-to" vacation home.
This was our second time staying here and we loved it even more the second time! The amenities are excellent, host was great, and the views spectacular. Thank you for everything.
Very cute house right on beach- could not ask for anything better! Very comfortable king size beds as well. I will stay here again.
we loved the beach house ...it was cosy and comfortable (the family referred to it as being "like Grandma's house". It was big enough for 6 of us and was very well equipped. The view from the front patio was lovely, and gave us the perfect reason to do Happy Hour every evening as we watched the sun set over the ocean!!!
We may have had second thoughts had we known that the owner of the house lives next door ( we had 2 birthdays to celebrate and were conscious of making noise) but they were polite and discreet. My husband enjoyed fishing in Lyttle Lake and we spent lots of hours on the beautiful beach, flying kites, having a bonfire and walking our ecstatic Samoyed "Grandpuppy"!!! Thanks Tracey!
Great place to stay, revive, walk the beach across the street, hike the coast trails and generally relax...I would not hesitate to book again...in a heart beat.
It is clean, cute and compy home away from home...
