The space
Wedged between Collier Cove Nature Preserve and the city of Arden, this 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment is a perfect blend between proximity to town and untouched wilderness. Boasting a deck with panoramic mountain views, a game room, a rustic-yet modern interior, this vacation rental offers incredible spaces for you and your loved ones. Whether you spend your Smokey Mountain adventure chasing waterfalls or visiting the historic Biltmore, the best of Asheville area is at your fingertips!

The rental unit is the entire lower floor of our home. We are nestled next to a nature preserve towards the top of a mountain so there are no homes very close by and you have miles and miles of Mountain Views.
You will access the space either by walking down a staircase or at the bottom of the driveway there is a flat stone path you can walk on to reach the entrance. There is a large flag stone patio where you can sit by the fire and watch your kids(if you have them) play on the playground or bounce on the trampoline. Or you can simply sit and admire the view.
You will enter into the game room that holds a pool table and a large flat screen and a bar. To your right is the movie room with a projector, air hockey table, foosball, and an arcade machine with 17000+ games.

The living room has two sofas and a chair, plus a massive 75” smart TV. However with the million dollar view just behind it you may not find yourself watching much television.
The living room walks out onto a 500 sq ft private deck with hanging egg chairs and furniture. We have a portable propane heater so you can enjoy the view in any weather.

You have access to a full kitchen with full size refrigerator. We provide a keurig coffee machine as well as all the coffee you can drink, plus cream and sugar.
The kitchen has a full set of cutlery, silverware and cooking needs(pots, pans, etc).
We provide an air popper for popcorn and the popcorn too for a proper movie night!

The bathroom has a stand up shower with provided soap, body wash and conditioner.

The bedroom has a California king with a tempurpedic style mattress and memory foam pillows. All linens are provided as well.

Lastly we want to note that since this unit is part of our house, by renting with us you are not contributing to the astronomical cost of housing in Asheville. Homes here have become completely unaffordable due to so many people buying up entire homes for the sole purpose of short term rentals. I know most vacationers like to have their own space, but this really is the best of both worlds. You still get your own space, while not adding to the housing crisis.

The best thing about our place is the feeling of being completely remote and out in the wilderness while having so much within a short drive. You can barely see any neighbors and it’s very quiet.
