I had a good stay here. To be clear, this a room in the hotel FFour. At $50/night, the room is a good value for the money. You've seen cleaner hotels with newer amenities, but for the price it's a solid buy. The staff is friendly and helpful as can be. Breakfast is free and delicious, albeit simple. The internet is free but spotty.
FFour is just 1.5 blocks from the Lala Lajpat metro, a convenient landmark when you're trying to find the place. The hotel is on the 3rd floor above Apollo Pharmacy.
The pics make it seem much more than what it really is.
It is not a hotel & also not a local experience. It was more of a guest house.
The staff couldn't speak English & due to that we risked missing our flight back home. I had clearly requested a taxi at 3:00 am from the staff & from Simran directly. They all either forgot or didn't care enough! It was really dark & late & we were 2 girls in the street trying to catch our flight. They eventually called a cab for us but after us giving them some hard time about it.
Also, I don't think that anyone ever met Simran in person.
This guest house was really lovely. The staff was very attentive to my needs as I had just had surgery. The meals were delicious and were cooked quickly, too. The apartment is centrally located right near Lotus Temple, Nehru Place and some local markets. My only complaint would be that the WiFi was very slow and as a traveller not wanting to use his cell-phone to rack up a big bill, it was difficult to communicate sometimes with people back home/ get work done.
the staff was also great at calling me cars + giving directions. I will definitely come back to stay
Its a decent room to stay, well connected with a tube station. and friendly staff and they cook a good breakfast. :))

About the Host, Simran
I love to travel, listen to music, watch a lot of movies. I have a collection of over a 1000 movies.
I have been in the hospitality business for the last couple of years therefore I know exactly what is expected from a place where one plans to stay.
My motto in life is simple: "do as you expect from others"
