About this listing

The space

nice room in quiet street near center of prague (10 mins walk to Wenceslas Square). i can cook (vegan/vegetarian) so you can ask me to do so :)

there is a park close by with an awsome view over prague, also really nice coffee places that are worth visiting and a vine yard with a beautiful place to sit and enjoy their vine production for a very good price.

our house was built sometime around 1900 so it has this old touch, the style is art nouveau, even though many things were stolen from the house or been rebuilt over times it stil is a special place and i'm hoping to put it back to its "as original form as possible" in my life :).

I can give you some local advices on your stay in Prague if you wish. In case, you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.

Guest access

This is a room in 3 bedroom apartment. One bedroom is mine and the two I rent out with airbnb. I am often not in town so usually you are sharing kitchen and bathroom with another airbnb guest. The kitchen has a nice atmosphere and is meant to work as a meeting area to share experiences, wine, food or so...

Other things to note

I use only ecological cleaning products in my place, biodegradable trash bags and organic soaps.

I found it very difficult to get into the room with those keys, had to work it multiple times for over a half hour, sweating in the heat

The public bus and metro from the airport can take you 100m away from the room, and the metro and tram service can get you anywhere in Prague. The walk to the city center is a bit far but the metro is "free" so it's definitely the way to go. Veronica and Sophie can help you out with food options and travel destinations and make sure you're stay is comfortable and personal. Great value, definitely will be coming back to this room if I ever return to Prague!

Veronika's hundred-years old apartment is an ideal 'base' to explore the thousand-years historical Prague. A cozy, spacey apartment with tons of natural light, numerous cafe, pubs and restaurants within walking distances. Veronika and her friend Sofie are considerate, always responsive and helpful. Plague is a city not just for 'sight-seeing', it is one for study, learning and reflections..., therefore don't plan it for one day or even half day, taking a slower move... Read, relish and treasure the subtleties of Prague and this lodging not all at once, but in small portions at many settings. Veronika composes all the amenities and human touch then it only belongs to those intellectual, wise and lucky travelers who can savor and digest it. I therefore recommend this lodging to anyone who is truly able to appreciate the "value" of traveling: "plain living and high thinking".

Veronika's response is fast and prompt. Although she can't meet us but she already made a good arrangement to ask her friend help us. And actually we arrived in a very late timing, but her friend just served us nicely and professionally. Good to stay for future guest.

Hello, I was art student and now I am somewhere on way of being artist :). I do draw, sometimes i paint and i do music as well. I also have made some short music videos for my songs. However lately i found myself to be very much into knitting while listening to audiobooks.
