Rosemary's family is incredibly nice and hospitable. While I did not meet Rosemary in person, she made herself available via phone and email the entire time. I was their first airbnb guest in the Kisumu house so it was a bit of a trial and error (no bed net the first day, door/lock was broken temporarily, a guest was washing clothes at 3am at night and lost a night of sleep, they had scheduled painting the house during my stay). I listed these because I felt like it was needed to mention to be honest. However, every time I asked for something the family was very attentive. They invited me to have dinner and generally were great to be around. I was at the time doing reporting and finishing up a project and decided to relocate to a guesthouse to have less distractions. While the Kisumu house was not for me, I am sure it is a good place for someone else who would like to spend time with a family and feel welcome.
Being our first Kisumu guest, Nafisa gave a very short notice confirming her stay in Kisumu and this may not have worked well for her as we had scheduled to spruce up the place and renovate for guests to be comfortable. She came to our place unwell with some infection and this understandably complicated her stay. She was aware of my absence and I had organized her reception, also I temporarily stopped the renovations which were completed after she left. Now the place is fantastic - as good as new for any guest(s) and everything has returned to normal including nets, doors and good rules! All are welcome.

I am a jovial and hard working professional, wife and mother of three boys and one daughter as well as one grandson. I love sports and exchanging good ideas with like-minded people from diverse backgrounds. I am passionate about helping the less fortunate members within our society, and especially making a difference within our own communities towards healthier and more prosperous lives.
My five priorities in life are: caring for family, income generation e.g. in farming, playing golf, listening to music, traveling locally and internationally.
My life motto is always to leave a legacy in my endeavors and to make a difference for the better in peoples lives and the environment.
I can talk but very good with listening and I respect people's ideas.
