The space

Our homely apartment is ideal for couples or families. It is situated on the first floor of a Victorian building, offering spacious accommodation combined with stylish contemporary décor. It comprises reception room, two well-proportioned bedrooms (with double beds), modern kitchen and bathroom (tiled bath with wall-mounted shower over). The rear bedroom is looking onto the peaceful Barnsbury Wood natural reserve (with limited access to the public).

-High ceilings, wood floors, double glazed windows, boiler heating system, high quality furnishings, fully fitted kitchen.
-The flat comprises of a TV, free wifi, DVD player (and number of DVDs), fresh linen, soft towels to use during your stay.
-One bedroom comes with a baby cot available for families.
-A sofa bed in reception room for additional guests.

The neighborhood

The area is family friendly with an abundance of squares and parks such as Thornhill Square, Barnard Park and Highbury Fields. On the neighbouring Hemingford Road there is a modern Indian restaurant and a child friendly café.
A walking distance from Angel and the vibrant Upper Street offers an excellent selection of restaurants, pubs, theatres, designer and antique shops. And for football fans - the Arsenal Stadium is 15min away walking.

Getting around

Nearby public transport links:
-The nearest tube station is the Highbury & Islington station (Underground Victoria Line) situated on the Upper Street (ten minutes’ walk away). It connects you directly to Oxford Street and its shopping centres (the 4th stop) as well as to Green Park and Buckingham Palace (5th stop).
-The Caledonian Road tube station (Underground Jubilee line) is situated on the Caledonian Road (ten to fifteen minutes’ walk from the flat). It connects you directly to Covent Garden (3rd stop), Piccadilly Circus (5th stop), the South Kensington area (9th stop) and the London Heathrow Airport (terminus).
-Besides, there are many busses that enable you an easy ride directly to the London financial City or the King Cross St Pancras International train station.
-Nearby public transport links also include Caledonian Road and Barnsbury Station (London Overground) which offers the chance to explore further afield outside London like Richmond and Kew Gardens.

We cannot be held responsible (and therefore no refund is payable) for any failure or interruption of services to the flat, including electricity, internet connection, plumbing, equipment and water, or any damage, disruption or noise caused as a result of repair works being carried out in another part of the property.
We strive to respect the privacy of our guests during their stay and unless requested by you we will not typically contact you during this period. Therefore, in case you find something that seems inadequate on your arrival please contact us immediately so that the issue can be resolved. Should we not hear from you immediately, we will assume that everything is fine.

We have no strict responsibility for property, money, valuables, jewellery etc., which you leave in the flat.

-The apartment is strictly non-smoking.
-Pets are not allowed to stay in the property.
-Upon departing, guests are obliged to turn off all water taps, the lights and all facilities in the flat, as well as to lock the door.
-Please leave the flat as clean and tidy as you found it.
-Guests are obliged to pay for any damage they cause, in case they are unable to prove their irresponsibility for the damage.
-Guests will be given 1 set of keys, but in the very unlikely event of finding themselves locked out or lose keys, a charge of £50 for callout will be applied.
-Guest agrees not to use the flat for any illegal activity.

We are a young family having a one year old baby boy. As a couple originally from Poland and France, we chose to live in Central London for the conveniences of having everything on our doorstep, but also opportunity to get away for regular trips to other parts of Europe or the UK. We are both keen travellers, and we would like to share our homely flat with other travellers when we are away. We would be more than happy to give you recommendations of things to do in this city.
