The trail towards town changes from sand, to shady dirt roads, from 'caliche' to grass, to asphalt, to sand... you might even encounter some cows and horses along your adventure.
There's always something to do here... surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, SUP, canoeing, canyoning, river rafting... you name it, Cabarete has it.
Public busses stop right outside our community gate taking your directly to Cabarete town center and back.

No shoes or sand inside please.

Let's respect our neighbors.... loud music and partying only at the roof top, and not until very late.
Don't leave your stuff around the pool area.
No other guests in the house without checking with me first.
Llesyri was a terrific host! She was very fast at communicating back an forth and providing detailed information when I asked questions and messages. She even invited me out to join her and some friends for dinner which I thought was very nice and above and beyond. Like her posting says, the room is in a very quiet area, between two towns, so if you are looking for quiet and relaxing, this would be a good place to stay. If your looking for nightlife, just be ready to drive a few min. to town, or take a bus or taxi. The apt. is beautiful and spacious and close to the beach. I didn't make much use of the amenities in the direct area, but everything was as described. It was a little tricky finding the place, even with a rental car. Would definitely stay here again.
Llesyri is a wonderful host. She's respectful, friendly, helpful, and laid-back.
Her apartment is very comfortable, steps away from the pool and beach, and ~10 minutes away from the bus stop.
We would highly recommend staying with Llesyri if you plan to visit the Sosua / Cabarete area!
Llesyri and her daughter were AWESOME! They made us feel right at home and were more than willing help us make our stay as wonderful as possible. Llesyri helped us around and told us all the great places to go to while we were in town. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places to go snorkeling.
The apartment was BEAUTIFUL. You can see, smell, and hear the beach right from the patio. The apartment has everything you could need. It is the perfect home away from home. We found it to be extremely safe and has a guard that is very friendly (Hola Ramon!). We even had breakfast and yoga on the beach a stone's throw away. The location is perfect. It is smack dab in the middle between Sosua and Cabarete giving easy access to all the things the area has to offer. We recommend having your own car although, taxis are easy to get.
Couldn't have picked a better place or host.
We had a great time staying here. The view was awesome. She was an amazing host. Literally felt like it was home. Easy access to everything. Would definitely stay again.
We had a very good staing at Llesyri place. She Is nice and helpful, her Family is lovely. The house is beautiful large silent full optional, with a good terrace on the sea.
It's just in the Beach with a swiming pool too.
You can go walking to Encuentro Beach to surf and by motoconcho o by car to Cabarete and Sosua villages. The room is clean and big with private bathroom.
We surely advice Llesyri place for your holidays!!
llesyri place was perfect. I booked her listing for the first few days that I arrived in caberete and the info she provided about local living was invaluable. I felt right at home with her friends and family. The house was well secured, 25 steps to the beach. Could not ask for more. I would stay again in a heart beat. Big comfortable bead. Nice pool. Quite and only 10 minutes from caberete, 5 minutes to sosua. I highly recommend her laid back place. I feel I gained a good friend and will come to visit next time I am in the country.
We had a wonderful experience staying with Llesyri. Her place is beautiful and the location was ideal for us. We prefer things a bit more laid back and really liked that her place was nestled between Caberte and Sosua. It was very easy for us to walk down the end of the road and catch public transportation to each of those towns when we wanted to have a bite to eat or nightlife. Llesyri was great at giving us the low down on all the tips and information we needed, and even helped us organize an amazing horseback riding trip in the mountains.
Her apartment is very safe with many layers of security so we felt very secure during our time there. The highlight of her place was the veranda which literally looks right out to the ocean. We spent a lot of time out there relaxing and enjoying the sea breeze and view. One thing that is not Llesryi's fault, but worth mentioning, is it may be very hot in the bedroom depending on the time of year you're visiting. I am more used to tropical climates but my boyfriend isn't and it was difficult on a few very hot nights to sleep because there is no air condition in the apartment (we were there in late March and were told a few of those nights were unseasonably hot). We don't regret our stay though and meeting Llesyri and her family enhanced our positive experience of a lovely first vacation in the DR.
