We did not get to meet Simona or stay at her place because if a last minute issue. However, she arranged for us to stay with an acquaintance Alfie across the street. Our stay was quite lovely.
Down the road from the Vatican which is great to get there early before the queues. Lovely place to stay, very clean and Simona went out of her way to check us in late when our flight was delayed
The room is great if you don't expect too much airbnb hospitality. I can't say much about Simona because I didn't see her, but I didn't have such a great impression. I felt like she was only profit-orientated; she only supported my decision until I booked the room, afterwards I felt left alone, same about recommandations in Rome or the departure (taxi to airport). This really annoyed me, even before the stay. Apart from the absence of a friendly host the room itself was pretty good. The location was great, so was the room except the shower which was a little bit dirty, I'd recommend slippers for this. ;)
Summary: For me the stay was too expensive for what I got as I also didn't feel respected as a guest. I could have got a bed to sleep anywhere, if you know what I mean.
Still I enjoyed the stay a lot! Rome is great :))
This is a great little neighborhood and cozy room. The hosts were very helpful. I especially like the coffee bar!
Simona is really lovely. She met us at the apartment. The apartment is literally a 5 min walk to the Vatican.
The local restaurants are worth avoiding as the are subpar tourist traps. We went to trastevere each night. 10 euro cab ride.
The apartment is quite small and ideal for a single person or couple. Tastefully finished and very clean. The wifi was excellent. The only slight thing was the noise from people walking in the hallway. Overall a great base for a couple who wish to explore Rome.
Our 3 night stay was OK however it definitely did not live up to expectations considering it was not cheap. We arrived at the building around 10pm so did not get let into the room by Simona and unfortunately we did not see or meet Simona at all during our stay. Our room was mostly clean but we found BLACK USED KNICKERS by the side of the bed which weren't removed until the 3rd day! I alerted her to this twice but never received a reply, let alone an apology. The bed was a bit hard for us, the shower leaked because it did not drain well & the room was dark, being in the basement - no natural light. The location is probably the only positive thing I have to say.. being a 3 minute walk from the Vatican.
Das Zimmer ist gut gelegen. Man kann viele Gegenden zu Fuß erreichen. Das Zimmer und Bad waren sehr gepflegt und sauber. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Rom gut geeignet.

Good cuisine And trip all over the world, for visit the other cities museum and so on...
I like books and that's why I have a library in the center of Rome in one of the most important and beautiful squares of Rome, Piazza Borghese!
I created inside upstairs, a kitchen where I do cooking classes in Rome for foreigners.
You can spend a great time in a nice and charming, the bookshop, which has 50 years of history, with beautiful architecture books.
The course fee is € 70.00 per person, starts at 12:00 am and only you can prepare the dishes and homemade fettuccine and then enjoy with a glass of wine all that you have cooked !!!
It will surely be a day of original and hard to forget!!!!!
