This 1880's era adobe apartment is true Tucsonan experience... with air conditioning. The neighborhood is colorful and quiet but near downtown. It has high ceilings, nice light, a private patio, stocked kitchen and midcentury decor.

The space
This apartment is newly renovated from the 1880's. It holds it's historic southwest charm with its high ceilings, tall thin fireplace and adobe walls but, also has modern amenities like a dishwasher and air conditioning. It sleeps a couple comfortably in a queen bed.

Guest access
Guests have their own private patio, laundry room, wifi and parking.

Other things to note
There is high speed internet, although no TV. So, make sure to bring your laptop for streaming. Also, no microwave but, there is an oven and everything you need to cook.

Some have mentioned the trains in Tucson. We don't notice them, and they are more than a mile away, but it was suggested we make note of that in our listing, and we are now doing so. Be aware that trains run throughout Tucson, so if that is an issue for you, Tucson may be a difficult town to stay in :).

Barrio Viejo is the most historic neighborhood in Tucson. It's filled with bright adobe houses, shrines, and community gardens. It's also just a few blocks from the Convention Center, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Co'op and all the bars, shops, restaurants and cafes of downtown- more specifically Congress St., 4th Ave. and El Mercado (farmers market on thursday).

During your stay
We give our guests the availability to access the apartment on their own by a lockbox on the front door. But, we live right next door, so we'll probably say "hi" in passing. We're always happy to meet our guests, make sure not only their stay in this space is great but also their stay in Tucson. We're full of recommendations.
