Sylvia's place is in a great location on a quiet street in East Austin. The apartment had everything that I needed and Sylvia was available to answer any questions. I highly recommend this apartment, plus it could comfortably fit at least three people.
Sylvia was absolutely wonderful. I can't say enough good things. Her place was amazing and she was the absolute nicest. She even printed concert tickets out for us when we realized we had forgotten. If I'm ever back in Austin, which I probably will be, I know where I'll stay!
Sylvia was a great host with a lovely garage apartment in a great neighborhood in Austin. View of the city skyline, peaceful back yard, walkable to great coffee/drinks/food, etc. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay, given the rate. Thanks, Sylvia!
Sylvia was a great host. She was prompt and prepared for our early evening arrival. She provided us with tips for events around town that related to our interests. And, she shared some great insights into the history of Austin that brightened our overall experience!
Sylvia's place was cozy and perfectly located for us. The sheets smelled wonderful and she even had a stash of feminine products in case the need should arise! We left on a sunny day in Wichita but were greeted by sleet on a slippery two lane backed up highway between Waco and Austin. One of the worst drives ever with many accidents.
Sylvia expected us at 8:30 but we made it at 11pm due to the inclement weather. She was so kind to get up and show us in and she even made sure the space heater in the bathroom was running! I love her collection of Fiesta in the kitchen area.
We came to town for a convention and the Austin Convention Center was a very close walk across Cesar Chavez under I35. We love Austin and plan to come back. I hope we can stay at Sylvia's!
This place was perfect! Clean and Cozy and very comfortable. Close enough to walk all over town, easy access to city bus to get to south congress shopping area, and inside parking area for car2go services which we used a lot. Has kitchen if you need it and full bathroom, even netflix for the lazy night we had. Our flight out was late and Sylvia kindly let us keep our bags there until well after check out time. Glad we didn't get a hotel and would recommend this place to anyone looking for fun and accessibility downtown Austin.
Clean room, quick 15min ride from the airport. Sylvia gave us some good insight to the city and things to do :)
sylvia's place worked out well for us.
My boyfriend and I had an excellent stay in Sylvia's apartment. The location can't be beat. We were able to easily walk to 6th Street and Rainey Street. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We will definitely recommend Sylvia's to friends and family and will stay there again in the future if we get the chance. Thanks!
This was a great spot for walking to the trendy Rainey Street during our stay! The apartment was great and accommodated our stay for a short weekend nicely. Communication with the host was non existent and we showed up hoping we would have a place to stay. We were lucky to show up right when the host came home and gave us a tour and a key.
