Small loft with high ceiling. Double bed and the possibility to use a double air mattress. 2 sofas. Internet, television and DVD, Internet & wiffi connection. Bed linen, towels, kitchen with all amenities. Big window which makes the apartment very light (depending on Irish weather). Possibility to use one bicycle.
The apartments is very well located in Lower Rathmines. Three supermarkets nearby (5-10 min. walking) and lots of pubs and restaurants in Camdem Street, which is 2 minutes far from the apartment. 15 minutes walking distance to the city centre.
Public transport easily accessible. Bus stop in front of the door, Luas at 5 minutes walking distance.
This is a lovely spot where to settle during your Dublin holidays.
Everything was as promised by Fede. His directions and availability were excellent, in spite of him not even being around!! He even left chocolates for us. Great location. The property itself is in need of extensive renovation, but the price is fair. All in all a positive experience
Fede was a great host! Despite the fact that he was away on a trip himself, he made sure we could get the keys from his friend and left us a very nice letter with information about the apartment and the city.
The loft was really clean and had a convenient size and location. We could easily walk to the city centre through the nice neighbourhood of Rathmines. During our stay it was quite cold in Dublin and the only thing we didn't like about the apartment was the fact that we could'nt personally turn on the heating. The heating system was centralized for the building so it would only switch on in the mornings and evening. However, the week we were in Dublin was a really cold week so probably in normal weatherly conditions it won't be a discomfort.
Despite this, everything was very nice!! The kitchen, shower etc worked fine. I could even use his guitar so I didnt have to bring my own.
I would definately recommend staying at Fede's place!!
