About Ubud:
Ubud, a town in central Bali, is far removed from crowded Kuta, and is regarded as the cultural centre of Bali. It is famous as an arts and crafts hub, and much of the town and nearby villages consist of artists workshops and galleries.

Ubud has in the last years developed to be one of the major places in the world for yoga, healing, and personal growth. Or, you can just come here and enjoy the great atmosphere and all the great places to eat.

There are some remarkable architectural and other sights to be found, and a general feeling of well being to be enjoyed, all thanks to the spirit, surroundings, and climate of the place. There are many tourists attractions in and around Ubud.

Guest access

How to get to the meeting point when you arrive in Ubud. The pick up point is at Alchemy cafe in Jalan Penestanan. Before coming to Jalan Penestanan you have to drive through the town centre of Ubud to Antonio Blanco museum, which is a well known museum in Ubud.

Shortly after the museum there is a crossroad where you turn sharp left up jalan Penestanan, its a short drive about 500 meters, and you will find Alchemy cafe on the left side of the road. The best is to call me to find the way. Please note. Telephone number will only show when a reservation is made.

From the airport you can come by taxi or I can also arrange with a local driver from Ubud to pick you up at the airport.

After pick up I will take you to your lodging. Which is about 500 meters into the southern part of Penestanan village along a small pathway. In the evening its dark. Its a good idea to use the torch on your mobile phone.

If you have any questions please ask.

All the best

Beautiful place, in the serene rice paddies. Kadek is amazing and made my time here perfect. She even took care of me when I was hit with a 2 day fever! Such a lovely lady, and beautiful property. Would love to come back!

I highly recommend! Kadek was very warm and friendly. The room was in the garden with a small pool and everything was so clean! Kadek went out of her way to make us feel at home! Best way to land in Bali!

Kadek was honestly the sweetest person ever! She always was so smiley and wanted us to just have a good time. She asked us what time we wanted our breakfast and had a different thing for us each day so we "don't get bored" and it was all so yummy! If we needed anything, we could ask her and her hospitality really made me wish we stayed here longer. The place itself was nice too but it's really a room with a bed, a small closet, and not much room for anything else. The bathroom is just out side of the room and although it was a little inconvenient to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it was a nice shower and bathroom. I think this place is best for a week max stay, we were there for a week and towards the end, wished we had a little more space. But overall, I would recommend this place and Kadek really makes your stay worth it!

kadek met me with a warm welcome at the meeting spot. she will support you with transportation (easy coordination for check-out with a driver to my next adventure) and a cheerful breakfast in the mornings. her location is very local and for me about 15-30 mins walk to ubud center... so if you want to be away from the noise and people, this is a great place. the private bathroom is outside, so make sure you have mosquito repellent! enjoyed my simple stay and meeting kadek!

My stay was amazing. It was near perfect. Kadek was very accommodating and she went over and above to make sure I had a good stay. The only negatives I could think of were the Mosquitos in the room and the dog barking during the night time. Made it a tad bit difficult to sleep, but other than that i would highly recommend this place.

Kadek was a wonderful host and made us a delicious breakfast each day. The room itself is quite small and basic, and the mattress isn't very comfortable. And the pool area is almost entirely shaded so we rarely had any desire to swim or lay out. Location is great.

Hello Lisa, Thank you for your review. We will make sure that the trees are trimmed to let more sun in on the pool area. All the best Kadek
