About Ubud:
Ubud, a town in central Bali, is far removed from crowded Kuta, and is regarded as the cultural centre of Bali. It is famous as an arts and crafts hub, and much of the town and nearby villages consist of artists workshops and galleries.

Ubud has in the last years developed to be one of the major places in the world for yoga, healing, and personal growth. Or, you can just come here and enjoy the great atmosphere and all the great places to eat.

There are some remarkable architectural and other sights to be found, and a general feeling of well being to be enjoyed, all thanks to the spirit, surroundings, and climate of the place. There are many tourists attractions in and around Ubud.

Guest access

How to get to the meeting point when you arrive in Ubud. The pick up point is at Alchemy cafe in Jalan Penestanan. Before coming to Jalan Penestanan you have to drive through the town centre of Ubud to Antonio Blanco museum, which is a well known museum in Ubud.

Shortly after the museum there is a crossroad where you turn sharp left up jalan Penestanan, its a short drive about 500 meters, and you will find Alchemy cafe on the left side of the road. The best is to call me to find the way. Please note. Telephone number will only show when a reservation is made.

From the airport you can come by taxi or I can also arrange with a local driver from Ubud to pick you up at the airport.

After pick up I will take you to your lodging. Which is about 500 meters into the southern part of Penestanan village along a small pathway. In the evening its dark. Its a good idea to use the torch on your mobile phone.

If you have any questions please ask.

All the best

Kadek is so nice, she made if feel like a home. We likes the place but aircon was not the best but in the night you don't really need it only in the day. The last three days the dog went crazy in the nights and started barking and run around many times a night so we didn't sleep were well, had to run out and scream at the dog so it stop every time otherwise it will continue for many hours but it stopper only to start again later again. Super cute in the days but awful in the night. Haha but we forgave it every day because its so cute.

Beautiful place, in the serene rice paddies. Kadek is amazing and made my time here perfect. She even took care of me when I was hit with a 2 day fever! Such a lovely lady, and beautiful property. Would love to come back!

Kadek is an absolutely wonderful host. Cleaned , made us coffee and breakfast every morning . Even gave us a big bag of Bali coffee because we liked it so much and asked for nothing in return. So helpful with our booking if Ubud tour , Mt Batur hike, and our boat transfer. She is a true gem . The accommodation itself was nice and gave you great value for the price . Refreshing pool . We found the 10 minute walk away from the main hub of Ubud to be more of a positive then a negative . Book this room !

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Thanks Kadek for nice breakfasts and helping arrange our transport to our next location. Basic room at a good price. Location is not far from main strip of restuarants, market etc.

We were greeted by Kadek with open arms, took us to the accommodation by scooter through the tiny alleys, was great fun. The room was beautiful, the garden so peaceful with a great pool to cool down in, lovely quiet area surrounded by rice fields. Some great places to eat just around the corner. Kadek was so nice from start to finish, helped us book our trek up the volcano and our trip to the monkey forest. Made us feel at home and always offered drinks! Also made us a beautiful breakfast! The best host we have came across on our travels. So kind! I would definitely recommend to stay here!
