Great location and clean and tidy apartment. All communication was excellent and everything we needed was provided (plus some - much appreciated!!) Tourist information and local information excellent, with some great eating and drinking recommendations. If you like windows open for fresh air - then you will need to be a bit noise tolerant - this is on a main road. We really enjoyed our stay though and would return to this apartment - the area around it is one of the best in Berlin.
The flat is great and very good located in the cool neighbourhood of Prenzlauer Berg, only few steps from many bars, cafes and restaurants. Rewe store is 5 min away - very convenient. Good transportation with the U2 line, 5 min walk from the apartement. Will, our contact person was very nice and brought us 2 fans which helped us to survive the big hit in Berlin during the first week of July. The apartment is great, comfy double bed, well equiped and clean, but not recommended during a warm weather (above 25 degrees) as there is no A/C and the curtains do not block the sun and the hit coming from the big windows at the appartment, facing the mor ning sun. You can't sleep with the window open as the apartment is facing a main street with lots of traffic. Other than that - it's a great place to stay.
Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review, Daphne, and thanks again for staying at my apartment. It was a pleasure to welcome you and it's great to hear you enjoyed the apartment. Temperatures over 25 degrees C are very rare in Berlin, hence barely any flat will have air conditioning, and whenever a heatwave strikes, we will enjoy it as long as it lasts! But we are glad that the fans helped. Please come back to visit us again soon (maybe when it is a bit cooler).
Both Stephan & Will responded to our emails & Will welcomed us personally. The apartment was totally as described on the website. The Prenzlauer are was lovely.
The flat was great and exactly as in the pictures: very clean, and spacious! The location is great - in the heart of the cool neighbourhood of Prenzlauer Berg with plenty of cool bars and brunch places, for transport it is also 10-15 minutes to Alexander Platz. We had no problem communicating with Stephan and his friend Will, who showed us an apartment and gave a good advices and useful answers to our question! We are keeping the address at hand for a future trip.
Our experience at Stephan's apartment was excellent. Although we never met Stephan and was greeted by his colleague Will (who was also very friendly and helpful),
he was very prompt in replying to our messages. The ubahn was approximately 200 metres down the street. A grocery store was also in close proximity to the apartment. The area has plenty of cafés and restaurants. We can't say there are any faults with the apartment. Thank you Stephan for hosting us :)
Will and Stephan are really nice. Thanks for allowing us to check out late. The location is near the U-Bahn. The awesome apartment is also as described. I am looking forward to staying here again in the future.
We found Stephan prompt with his communication. Will greeted us at the apartment and provided an excellent overview of the area.
The apartment is well renovated and was a lovely place to call "home" for the week, it was a real gem. The photos and descriptions were accurate.
Thanks for having us at your lovely apartment.
